If you have a large family what you can do at Christmas time as a special family event is put all the items you have chosen not to keep out on a table and each family member takes a turn going around and picking an item at a time they would like until everything is gone! It's a fun thing to. My Brother's wife's family does it but they do it with items they have collected throughout the year that were buy one get one free. P.s. I start work at Michael's this week! I can't wait!

Michael's throws good usable stuff in the dumpsters all the time...these grab bags are like a last attempt to get some money for stuff before they toss it.
i can see loads of gift ideas with the candles, the dog leash, perfume and a tin full of dog treats, all the other tins full of home made cookies with fun shaped cutters and more gifts (from the heart) sorted..we don't have micheals in the netherlands or grabbags anywhere ;-(

I'm so jealous, michaels doesn't exist in Australia so getting crafting stuff here is so expensive, one small 56gram block of clay gets up to $5. I would so go to America just for the crafting stuff
Anna Harris No Michael's? Say it ain't so!! I just recently discovered that Michael's does these clearance boxes... otherwise crafting stuff can be pricy depending on what I am looking for. However, all the craft stores have coupons for 40-50% off. You need to come to the US to get your shop on! LOL Thanks for watching! =D

What a great haul! Might I suggest donating what you won't use to your church or your kids' teachers. I'm a middle school teacher who provides projects for my kids who would never have the money to buy gifts for their parents for holidays. I bet there is a creative teacher near you who would be just as appreciative as I would be to receive items like these to use with my students.

I know that this is not a recent video and you may have already found homes for the extras but women's shelters and nursing homes love items like you got. They give them to the women so that they can write letters and journals, and the others could be used as prizes for bingo and other games, I always donate my extra goodies as it makes me feel good to know that I could help make someone's day a little brighter.

I think a lot of them are. One of my friends went to her Michael's and they had mystery garbage bags for $6. These boxes were right near the register. Hope you score some goodies from Michael's!

Ok so I went to Michael's and found $2 grab bags. Not near as exciting as the stuff you got. Those candles you got was worth the total you paid. My video is processing right now. I haven't ever found any penny items but I have only been going there for a month now. Oh and I looked for price scanners and couldn't see them because they aren't marked but I asked and I was oh right in front of my face. There are 4 in the store here, one on each of the main poles in the 2 main aisles. So this Michael's is across the road from my #2 RA so I am making it a regular stop now. And one day I will have a cart load of penny items.

I would have made gift baskets and sold them and than bundled items and sell them. yes there is a lot of stuff there and you could make some nice cash for that stuff. fb has sell groups all over and people sell that kinda stuff on there daily.

How do you know when they have the box sales?
I would have made gift baskets and sold them and than bundled items and sell them. yes there is a lot of stuff there and you could make some nice cash for that stuff. fb has sell groups all over and people sell that kinda stuff on there daily.
+misty blessing I've definitely made some money through reselling some of it. my husband used some items for his multi media art. I gave some of it away... these were definitely fun to purchase. :D TFW!!
