Haydn a Estheraza, Corelli aRoma, Martini a Bologna, Haendel a Londra, A. Scarlatti e Pergolesi a Napoli, Vivaldi a Venezia, Telemann ad Amburgo, Heinichen a Dresda , e infine il sommo Bach a Lipsia. Mozart è il genio assoluto sintesi di un’epoca straordinaria di musica in Europa.
Lovely piece of music! Music can be enjoyed by the heart and the soul, or other kinds can be admired by the intellect for their technical wizardry, construction, and virtuosity alone. Personally I prefer the former: in my opinion those who prefer the latter are frightened of surrendering to their emotions and are missing out on humanity’s greatest experiences!!!!!!
The authorship of many compositions according to period manuscripts and especially from the 18th century is often doubtful, as some editors "changed" it for another more "famous" composer. However, the quality of Stamitz's works is beyond doubt. He composed before 1757!! (in contrast with counterpoint of the moment).

The score isn't on IMSLP. Does anyone know where I can find it?
