Client Autumn working hard to get this Musky to eat.

Autumn was finishing her figure eight and about ready to recast when this nice Musky showed up to investigate her fly. She stuck with it and continued to figure eight for several minutes when the fish suddenly attacked her fly. What a text book figure eight eat!
The fish was thrashing on the surface and I tried to steal a quick net job but the fish had other plans and jumped out of the net and into the trolling motor. The motor wasn’t running and I still don’t know how the fish got into the position it did but it was touch and go for a bit. I was finally able to get the line untangled and the fish in the sack for a memorable experience for us all. Just another Musky on the fly adventure .
