2024 and I’m still rocking with you JM! I’m 30 years old now and I remember being a clueless teenager when this song came out. Could never stop singing it. So much has happened since then, but this man’s voice and music never fails to keep me going. Most underrated artist of my lifetime with so many songs that didn’t get the spotlight they deserved (On The Same Side and Get to You for example). So glad to be part of the ones that knew of this artist in his prime. Thanks and keep going James.
2010, I'm seventeen, first time in London, the city of my dream. I was walking alone all day along the city centre. And it was rainy that day, but I was so happy and thought I could do anything because I'd reached this place alone from another country. So, I was soaking wet when I got in my train to Cambridge, were I'd been staying. And while sitting there, in a crowded train, this song was playing in my headphones, making my feelings even more exaggerated. Still gives me thrills

He is a true musician who lives for writing and performing music that resonates with people. In my opinion he is up there with the Ed Sheeran’s of the world and was actually one of Ed’s major influences. James’ fan base will continue to grow and stay with him as he matures into one of the world’s greatest musicians. He already has a fantastic back catalogue of great songs which people will know, even if they don’t know who he is. I have followed him since day one and he just gets better and better. He is superb live. 🎶🎵

The way I interpret this song is that no matter what the rain has to happen to see the sun. Just let it rain, without rain crops don't grow and people don't eat.
