The Gremlin games Hogs of War, Loaded & Re-Loaded are a great shout. I'd love to see the PS1 Micro Machines V3 or heck, even a Micro Machines cart with games from the various platforms :-) Keep up the awesome work!
I really would like to see a game like coolboarder 2, which I really loved back then. I would also like to see racing games like destruction derby 1 and 2, sled storm, Porsche challenge, crash team racing, nascar rumble and twisted metal series...
I want Saturn, that was my console choice for that time and loved it. Gex is the big one for me of those you named. I'm surprised you didn't have Myst in the list. Too bad Enemy Zero was only Saturn & PC, would love that one! Alien Trilogy & Herc's Adventures are 2 I loved that were also on PSX but fat chance for those. Hexen is one that's possible alongside Doom. I used to have a lot of fun with Mass Destruction but it's so dated, not sure how far nostalgia would carry me. Most of what I want from that time you have to go to Saturn for it with a few also on PC or arcade.
Eidos have good games, like Fighting Force, Machine Head, Death trap dungeon, Ninja: Shadow of Darkness. I would love to see Primal Rage, the PS1 version.
Fingers crossed for Croc and Pandemonium 😊 Both carts would be great additions to the Evercade library. Personally I'd add the Persona titiles (Atlus owns those), I'm sure a dual cart would sell great, a big of Shin Megami Tensei, talk about it a lot on my channel😊 Nightmare Creatures could be a possibility also. Great vid ❤
I would pay £50 for a Namco collection that would have Soul Blade on it! Same for a Gran Turismo 1-2 collection. This would be crazy, but I know I would pull the trigger.
Another game to the list "Future Cop LAPD" would be a great fit for Evercade VS. The splitscreen mode is so good. I would also love to see some good PSX racing games. And Doom? Evercade is likely one of the few devices in the universe, which does not run Doom. At least not officially. There is an excellent version of Doom on PS1, not to mention the many source ports compatible with Linux (Chocolate, Crispy, PRBoom...). Hello, Blaze??!
RE size concerns Im pretty sure most if not all PS1 games would be smaller than 1gb as that was before DvDs. If they could fit Tomb Raider 1-3 on a cart it shows it’s technically possible to do it for other games. I think the biggest challenge will be licensing. Doom has been on every device ever made so it feels like including Evercade in that would be a no brainer. Original GTA was included on the PsClassic so it shows RS are open to it.
Here are some PS1 games that were not mentioned that could be possible on Evercade. Armorines: Project S.W.A.R.M Battle Arena Toshinden Battle Tanx: Global Assault Black Dawn Buggy Demolition Racer Firestorm Thunderhawk Felony 11-79 Formula Kart Special Edition GTA 1, GTA: London 1969 & GTA 2 Grid Run (EU), Grid Runner (NA & JP) Gunship Hyper 3-D Pinball Motorhead NGEN Racing Re-Volt RC Revenge Side Pocket 3 (Japan only release) Spot Goes To Hollywood Total Drivin True Pinball Tunnel B1 X2 World Destruction League: Thunder Tanks Worms Pinball (This was a port of Addiction Pinball and was only released in Europe) Worms World Party
A problem that seems to come up once you get to PlayStation era games is game size. “Collections” quickly become 1-3 games which feels less like a collection and starts to bring up the value proposition more. Blaze could always do a larger cart size, but with the talk of price increases due inflation/change over time and the to do over giga carts and those price increases last year…it might not be a direction Blaze wants to go in. Could we get some more RPGs, golf games, maybe some driving games though?
The 1st 3 resident evil Games would be great on evercade as you can’t really get the originals anywhere now Also would love to see a ridge racer collection from namco
Hi, two more unrevealed cartridges have been rated in October in Germany by USK. Both are Collections No. 2. One of them is the follower of a PS1 collection already released.
File under "never gonna happen," but Syndicate Wars would be cool to see - never rereleased via backwards compatibility in the US, but it was in Europe. I think all the Bullfrog games fall under EA, which doesn't care much about old games.
Wow interesting. I absolutely loved both games. Had a great feel to them. You could actually feel the different road surfaces. I dont recall any other games coming close.
With croc getting a re master to the newer consoles, that could possibly be an option. Guessing it can cost thousands / hundreds of thousands to be allowed to get the carts approved?
I would like to see Rollcage 1 & 2 or the Colony Wars Games but I think Sony own the rights to them now (maybe a Psygnosis collection?). A Bullfrog collection could be good fun too with games like Dungeon Keeper, Theme Park, Theme Hospital, Populous: The Beginning and Syndicate Wars or a Westwood Studios collection with Command & Conquer (original, Red Alert and/or Red Alert: Retaliation) and Dune 2000 but getting the rights from EA might be tricky.
So much like how I really enjoyed Piko Arcade 1, with its really bizarre games like Burglar X, I’d like a PS1 collection of unusual Japanese PS1 games that we didn’t really see over here. I used to get some PS1 games from the Barras (don’t judge me) and that included some really good Japanese releases like Fantasic Pinball (their typo, not mine).
Would be great to see some of the above that are possible, bur with Blaze who knows , i never for one thought the Broken Sword games would be on cartridge.?
More disappointment for me would be Disc World as the next cart. No thanks. 😁 PS1 Doom & Final Doom most definitely & Abe Odyssey! A full complete version of Z would be nice. 😜 Some more... V-Rally 1 & 2 Kula World Dune aka Dune 2000 on PC Command & Conquer Red Alert Agent Armstrong True Pinball Exhumed Pandamoium Return Fire Capcom Generations. 😂
@@CrazyBurger😂😂 Yeah something like that, it's been a while! 😂😂 You fly underground in some ship in cockpit view. Yeah it was really fun once you got used to flying up side down as well. 👍
I don't think the cart size is much of an issue, whether or not games arrive will be down to the deals with rights holders. A larger cart will just pass on the production cost to the consumer. There are some great games on Playstation, even the two Discworld games would be welcomed. I hope Blaze can make the most of the opportunity they have!
Aren't Crash and Spyro owned by Activision (/Microsoft) nowadays? Not that that would make it any more likely. Tekken would be pretty nice since it's rather unlikely we'd get a re-release of the older games in any other form. With Broken Sword coming out on Evercade, if there's gonna be another adventure game series, I think Little Big Adventure might have a shot. I'd also suggest the two Tenchu games, but they were published by Activision, so again, it's the same problem as with Crash and Spyro. But there's plenty of smaller PSX games that should be easier to get, but the problem with PSX games is that you can only have very few and then they have to be popular enough to carry the whole collection on their own.
PS1One games only look good on the VS, when I was playing Tomb Raider on the EXP I got killed by a cougar I couldn't because he blended with the background.
I have some ideas but I am limiting myself so won't be including the big name publishers. -Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare - Alternative to Resident Evil. Publisher THQ Nordic - Athena: Awakening from the Ordinary Life - Possible as the Puiblisher is SNK but would need translating as it was Japan only. - Battle Arena Toshinden - Pretty much forgotten but it would be a good grab to breath life back into the series. Wiki says Takara is the publisher nut don't know if these have been purchased by someone else. - Clock Tower Series would be interesting but publishing rights may be an issue. - King's Field series. This is made by From Software so the developer alone would draw attention regardless of the title. An Action Role playing game. Going through the list of Playstation games though shows that licensing will make it very difficult as many games have been bought up by larger studios who have no interest in Evercade, studios have shut down leaving the rights in limbo, or are based on licensed IP's meaning they would need there licenses renewed.

@@mythias Maybe that'll happen. But not sure Saturn emulation is there yet especially for a low powered device like Evercade.
Konami on board would be great for older arcade games aswel: Frogger, Yie Air Kung Fu and Rush ‘n Attack for example. Also some great NES games there.
Eidos have good games, like Fighting Force, Machine Head, Death trap dungeon, Ninja: Shadow of Darkness. I would love to see Primal Rage, the PS1 version.
I think with the Crystal Dynamics connection, Gex is almost a certainty.
Square Enix owns it.

Ninja Shadow of Darkness
MDK

@steveothehulk sadly Resident Evil is doubtful. The sizes of the game ls make it a non starter. Maybe one of them if any.
