Grays and Torreys Peak | Mountain Goat Family Encounter | Starting from the bottom lot | Double 14er

- This video is from our trip to Georgetown, Colorado to accomplish our 2nd and 3rd 14ers ever, Grays and Torreys Peak. Our original plan was to go the "typical" route, up the outside of Grays, down the middle back up to Torreys and then back down. However, we must have missed the turn off in our struggles and ended up going straight up the middle and decided to hit Torreys first because we were unsure if we would make both. After making it to the top of Torreys Peak we both had so much motivation to hit Grays next! We are so glad we did because we ended up running into a mountain goat family on the way up, and again on our way back down Grays! (More footage of that from our phones to come soon in a "Shorts"!)

It started raining as we got back to the trailhead but it wasn't bad just for the 2.5 miles back to the car.

Planning going going this upcoming weekend, What was the weather like?
It was beautiful but I would get going at 5-6am at the latest to avoid the afternoon rain. Not a big deal but it doesn't take much to turn to hail. Have fun and send us pictures on Instagram!
