Good morning team! Come on, Gil. Every now and again, we have to throw out a Horvat, Barzy and Anthony collectively score 100 goals this year. I really think the younger players are going to do extremely well. They are going to surprise a few people. Lets face it, the PK has got to be better. Even if the PK is in the middle of the pack, it will be greatly improved from the basement last year. I think the PP wasn't too bad last season. Would like to see that improve to a top ten PP. Five on five play, I think we can hold our own, but looking for a better goal differential over last season. Thanks again, Gil for the insight and your analysis. Everyone have a great day! My 3 keys to season
1 sorokin. Can he get his game back? So far not looking good
2. Roy. Can he get this team to play consistently not only game to game but shift to shift? Has to eliminate third period collapses.
3. Bottom 6 forwards have to produce points. They had no production last year from JG casey MM and clutter

If tsplkov only gets 33 pts playing bottom 6 thats a bad season he needs to be in the mid 50

Good 🌄, Gil, how are you? I think Anthony DuClair's going to do just fine, as long as he does some serious forechecking and backchecking. Maxim Tsyplakov 33 points. Bo Horvat once gets the A, his all around game will get better, and that goes for Barzy, too.
We all know Ilya Sorokin's not going to be playing Opening Day. Varly will be fine. Of course, the defense has to play better in front of Varly. Noah Dobson needs to be a better quarterback on the PP. The PK may be respectable, and so will the the PP. I'd ❤to 👀 The Islanders get out of the muddy middle, especially in The Metro Division, which is a tough division to begin with HAPPY 🎂 PAT FLATLEY, AKA THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARDS. Mayfield sucks and draws way too many penalties every year he’s a damper on the team! They need to trade him and Engvall!
How many penalties has he already taken just from pre season games already 3 or 4 has the most penalties already.
Drawing penalties is a good thing. Mayfield takes way too many penalties.

Bold prediction i'd like to see. Age catches up to isles as injuries (including 30) take their toll sending isles spiraling down the east standings and louzer out the door and to a rocking chair where he belongs.
Bold prediction-18 scores 9 goals. 26 and 10 combine for 18 goals.
Bold prediction-if isles suffer the inevitable tail spin stubborn louzer will hold onto his guys till the bitter end still kidding himself this team is a contender as tdl passes with no movement derailing isles future even more.
We'll see what happens with Lou's future. I have the unfortunate feeling he'll be here until he wants to step down, ownership seems to really like him. Not sure 26 makes the team. Thanks for the comment, Steven.

old, slow, talentless team, same old story, 9th place , mid draft pick and an other wasted season under Lou.....
