500 Madness GOPedal Installation

I install the GOPedal in this video. VERY easy install that even the most novice of mechanics should be able to do in no time at all. It makes the pedal more responsive and the already big smile on your face from driving this car even bigger!

Does it effect on fuel efficiency?
Does it make it smooth?
What is your experience after installing it?

I just got one for my 500x and it's amazing. Doesn't affect fuel efficiency and there isn't any dead spot in the pedal. Makes passing on hwy so much easier

I'd agree however if you have the temptation to feel full throttle all the time it will of course affect fuel economy. You can choose how responsive you want it so it can be either real smooth or pretty touchy. There's lots of maps to choose from. Experience is it's worth every penny!

Nice video, is the controller battery operated? Did you download the app as well? I wanted the original go pedal plus because of the protect mode but they stopped making it and sent me just the bluetooth version. It worked great but sadly I had to return it because it didn't have protect mode. Let me know how well this version works. I may purchase it for my Abarth.

Hey Steve! The pedal works great and has the valet mode (I'm guessing this is what you mean by protect mode). The control mounted to the dash is battery operated. What's nice about that is that when you set it to valet mode, you can quickly remove the controller and put it in your pocket! I didn't download the app since I'm not the one mainly driving the car. If I was, I still don't think I would. The controller is super convenient and easy to use.

​@phil_hazzy Protect mode is the button on the left side of the controller. Whereas valet mode keeps the car nice and slow, protect mode kills the accelerator pedal altogether. The idea is if someone breaks into the car to steal it, the dead pedal won't let them go anywhere.
