I am very impressed with this product. Thank you for your reviews. Never understood what one needs EQ presets for. Other than a quick test if the EQ is working. The app that comes with my ear buds of choice has several, but none of them counters their specific downsides (it has very few, but a tiny little tweaking makes it great).
I personally think the jlabs are better. I have both and while the Elite 10 is good but the Epic lab edition with the Knowles preferred preset is so much better. I listen to metal and they are legit the best.
It was pretty good, I have been using it for several weeks. Jlab's anc wasn't good enough compared to AirPods Pro 2, but its sound quality was a lot better. I am now using it when I'm commuting and studying in the cafe.
In my opinion and I've listened to all of those the jlab epic sounds better than most closer to the sound of the status between pro which I have found nothing sounds better for pure music nothing
This or status between 3anc or the pricy denon perl pro, will use ar work as my sennheiser momentum 3 just died. In iem i prefer dunu x gizaudio davinci, so help me chose tws
Its better than just hearing people speaking about it. I bought the moondrop space travel because of these samples and im not dissapointed. Like them more than the Buds 2 pro from samsung for example.
Well when he use a track with no bass, and no live recording it sound c##p. No point with sound sample when the track give not a correct image of sound.
I'm on the hunt for some new buds since my XM4s went are dead and iI just washed my new samsung buds 2 pro I got for free with the s24 ultra. I need some asap. It's out of the Bose QC Ultras and theXM5's hate going back to Sony after killing my xm4s in less then a year. Was thinking about waiting for the new Momentum 4s.... But IDK Any advice on something with good anc, sound and decent battery life with no issues will help.
kinda skeptical on this review. I was worried when you compared the sound but the anc on these seems very overhyped here where literally everybody else is saying its def b list anc
@@reddeadyoyoso I ended up buying both the inzone buds as well as the jlab epic edition. The jlab audio quality blew them out of the water, and had better overall build quality and battery. However some aspects on the software / firmware side of the jlabs still feels like less premium. That being said I kept the jlab and returned the Sony.
I am very impressed with this product. Thank you for your reviews. I really appreciate your hard work but I am still confused. How do you compare with Creative Aurvana Ace 2 Earbuds based on xMEMS technology? How is it different in terms of sound quality? Can you make a detailed video on TWS Earbuds Driver which one is best? I hope you consider my request Thanks :)
Trying to understand the thinking behind giving us a test track that is completely lacking in bass. Explain the meaning of this? Anyone who has a clue about sound and sound image knows that using a song that lacks bass will not give a correct impression of the sound image as a whole. This has been brought up several times but you are not willing to listen. What's the problem when you know I'm right. Paying you for giving us a tool that have a track with no bass is just a wast of money.
Yea, it would be best to have some more bass heavy samples. Some channels like AREGINA offer a few different samples and that’s probably a safe bet too. But really, the bigger problem is using measuring gear that doesn’t attempt to adhere to any standard, it seems. These measurement graphs, for example, look very off compared to sources like SoundGuys and RTINGS. The TH-cam channels from AREGINA and 0db also attempt to adhere to a standard by using GRAS measuring rigs. I understand that proper gear can be prohibitively expensive. But nowadays, you can get high quality 711 knockoff couplers for a couple hundred at best. It may not be a B&K 5128 that seemingly everyone is moving to, but it’s at least the previous standard with some semblance of consistency with other sources. It can not be overstated how important this is. For now, these results and overall assessment is not very useful. I wish I can get an idea of what these JLab earbuds sound like, but the graph looks so off that it almost looks compensated. I suppose it’s most useful to compare it to the other earbuds shown in this same video, since they’re all from this same source.
I don't think that the track itself is a Problem, bur measurements oft heasphones themselves. It is incredibly hard close to impossible to deliver fair headphone measurements.
The Jabra are so bright that it borderlines becoming annoying. Without ANC they sound thin and liveless. The fact that the sound signature changes 180 degree between ANC and ANC off is a no go for me as well.
I think these earbuds are pretty damn good not only for the money but this is Jlabs first flagship product. The look and fit are top notch not to mention the sound quality. There's a lot of value here. Thanks Aaron nice review as usual. 💯👍🇺🇸
Using the knowles preferred setting is the best on the epic labs! They are my favorite I've listened to. I have the elite 10s, xm5 and so on. They dont hold a candle to anything else. Hell the xm5 wound cheap to me.
Thanks Aaron for a great review as always ...i know they are not in the same price point ..but based on sound quality alone ...how does this compare to the Technics AZ80 ..is it better or as good ?

Oh finally someone who reviews jlab products
I love how well rounded the sonys are with tha audio and the bass has a very good amount of thump
The JLab, by far, sounds the best of all of those.
I am very impressed with this product. Thank you for your reviews.

No problem, appreciate the input!
No doubt, Overall Jabra Elite 10 is the best of all in terms of music and call quality ...
yes, although I am a Sony fans, but my vote goes to Jabra this time
I personally think the jlabs are better. I have both and while the Elite 10 is good but the Epic lab edition with the Knowles preferred preset is so much better. I listen to metal and they are legit the best.
Jabras are super bright and harsh. I sent mine back after 2 days.
Good job comparing. I am a JLAB fan, they make great and affordable products.
Love your reviews. I was excited about the Jlabs but I couldn’t get a sound that I liked out of them. Back they go…
You're welcome :) Thank you kindly for your tip!

I will choose sony wfxm5
the dongle looks interesting. hows the latency when they are used by it?
Great video- thanks👍
wow really help, nice man, i really like jabra's sound! thanks
Thanks!
Thanks
Anyway to disable peak protection? It gives me a headache

Are these any good with iPhone
Why don't you play bass heavy samples?
Does anyone find it difficult to compare sound samples of different earbuds if you are not using those exact earbuds itself, or is it just me?
Its better than just hearing people speaking about it. I bought the moondrop space travel because of these samples and im not dissapointed. Like them more than the Buds 2 pro from samsung for example.
@serrael-182 so is it safe to rightly assume that the samples actually give you somewhat of an accurate and fair comparison to what earbuds are like?

denon perl pro, never had a better bud ever
Denon PerL Pro. Best tws you can get now. I have many expensiv earbuds but these are the best.
That price tho
199 for Jlab I think it's way too expensive there are so many choices out there with much lower price
Flagship prices lol
Best Buy 158$

Thoughts on these vs the Sony Inzone buds or the ROG Cetra Speednova?
I’ve been trying to decide the same thing. Have you found anything to help make a decision

@@reddeadyoyo theyre loud enough for me personally.
@@mobi_one How was the ANC of the J Lab vs. the Sony Inzone Buds. Just wondering if ANC is stronger on Jlab or not.
Jlabs have a audio hiss and the mic sounds like a toy walkie talkie from the 90's lol
....weird, since the mic clearly sounds better on here than the competing earbuds.

I ask the same
I think most people with any experience in audio would say sound samples over youtube are worthless period.
Yeah I’m tired of the same song sample too. Anyone miss JimsReviewRoom?

Jabra is way more open sounding way to go jabra elite 10
Refer to the new sound samples here th-cam.com/video/F1svyk3SyOQ/w-d-xo.html, the previous one was not correct. (Added Airpods Pro 2 to the list)
We need cleaner things, and they come with this pendrive called dongle; come on
Jabra Elite 10 is more clearer, sorry.
Have you used any other brands ? 🤔
Not yet, but I like Jabra's physical button
The Jabra are so bright that it borderlines becoming annoying. Without ANC they sound thin and liveless. The fact that the sound signature changes 180 degree between ANC and ANC off is a no go for me as well.
It's adaptive approximately 10 seconds , it will change slightly 😊, my Jabra Elite 10 sounds good and call quality excellent 👌
Jlab sucks. Won't work with PS5
Or the PS5 sucks, due to Sony's proprietary everything.
I think these earbuds are pretty damn good not only for the money but this is Jlabs first flagship product. The look and fit are top notch not to mention the sound quality. There's a lot of value here. Thanks Aaron nice review as usual. 💯👍🇺🇸
No problem! I like these a lot so far.
Sounds thin compared to all the others which have full bodied mid-range
The brand who makes an earbuds that small, with great sound, good app (Jlabs Mini) and fair price, deserves a vote of confidence
I have been using the epic lab for a few weeks now and I love it. I highly recommend the Jlab signature EQ preset as it sounds the best to me.
In the Gauntlet series the Jlab epic lab were beaten by the Soundpeats Opera 5 for sound. I couldnt believe it
Very nice new jlab❤
The comparison at 6:18 min. sounds strange: Every compared earbud has a stereo-stage except the JLabs! Something gone wrong at editing?
You're right, for some reason it sounds very compressed. I'll be uploading another samples comparison soon.
First time am watching a complete comparison 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰🥰🙏🙏🙏🙏

I'm having a problem with the bluetooth microphone not working on macos 13 and above, anyone else have the same problem?
Can i use the dongle on my quest 3 and also still use my battery pack? No pass-through on the dongle right? Is there some adapter i can buy? Thanks
I haveo jlap cheapest once and they sound expensive and amazing base...love em
How do you compare the Jlab to the similar structure liberty 3 pro ( i remember you personally own )
Why is the price of Epic Lab so much higher compared to Taiwan (6K NTD).
How do i enable the ldac codec in the jlabs? Thanks
In terms of ANC is it better than the Sony LinkBuds s?
The USB dongle will not work with PS5
Also the sample at 4:04 is not correct either.
And again ….
Great vid. Interesting product.
Thank you!
