I live in W Western Kentucky near where the tornado came through it took out probably thousands of trees just here in Marshall County those trees will not be replacering our lifetime The landscape has totally changed my concern is the oxygen trees give off
Oh, my, I had forgotten about Momma's putting plastic bread bags (and Daddy's big, thick "Army" socks) over our shoes on those rare occasions when it snowed in LA and MS (back in the late 50s - early 60s. I love listening to you talk. Just came over from Deep South Homestead. Bonus was enjoying Danny's smiles. Anyone with dogs and cats are good in my book. You both make me wish I were closer to 60, not 70, so I could start a homestead.
My grandfather and great grandfathers were loggers and worked in mills. They along with my father passes away when I was young. I always wanted to learn about the various trees and the best uses for them. I also wanted to learn construction but never had any means of being able to learn. I signed up for a shop class and they told me I had to supply my own wood. Unfortunately, I had no money or transportation other than the bus which caused too much difficulty. I still want to learn. Also, my children want to learn. There aren’t shop classes at the local schools. So please teach us everything you know. There are a lot of us who are hungry for the knowledge. I know there are already some you tubers like Deep South, the more the teachers the better because everyone brings different experience and wisdom. Talk to us like you’d teach a young kid with no idea or experience. It will help people of all ages all over the world. Those who live in poverty will be given a hand up. People can watch in their local libraries if they can’t watch at home. I look forward to more videos.

It looks like Tennessee is getting more snow than some of its neighbors up north. I came over here after the recommendation on Deep South Homestead. It’s great to see TH-cam channels working together. As far as Jake enjoying his first snowfall- I remember our Georgia bulldog Rusty enjoying his first snow. He was a rescue from a southern Georgia kennel and I am sure he didn’t see snow like we had in Northern Illinois.

About the catalpa n sycamore trees are they easy to propagate new seedlings?
You can break off a tender limb, plant it, baby it and it will grow most the time.
