    • @l33tninja1

There is a good chance they always know it wasn't sustainable and at best just wanted the money laundering or at worse just part of a plan to help kill the majority of the population since many elites believe the best thing for the planet is if the global population drops to around 500,000 or even zero.

This is not a complex issue. The generation establishment can be called out by the simple expedient of the nation and the government insisting that all renewable generation be used before the non renewable generation is applied to the national network. The only basis on which the non renewable generators can object to this approach is that they wish to protect market share, read profits, and they are best placed to begin the shift to renewable energy themselves. There will be amongst their hierachy this awareness, and the reluctance to pursue such a course can only be seen as sinister. I am not a greenie zealot but someone who has worked almost all my life in all three fields of the electricity industry, generation, distribution and utilisation, both operating and maintaining. I acknowledge the greenie zealots have their heads and feet in the clouds and i wish them little if any support because their ambitions are unachievable and a far more grounded approach is required, but we do have to make a start and it would seem that the start is going to take some compulsion.

It all doesn't matter, Australians will keep on voting for Labor, Greens, Teals and Independents because they can afford to and they like to green progressive virtue signal. Most Australians are wealthy due to property deals and love to show off their wealth and progressiveness by driving a Tesla. Of course most Australians are also self declared NIMBYs who don't want the immigrants and windmills in THEIR neighbourhood but in 'someone else's suburb'.

Soon, everyone will have to organise into racial lobby groups. Yes, everyone. Or we could just all try being Australians?

China as always looks longer term. We just look as far as the next election. China is patient enough to wait for our own governments to weaken our nation to a point where China will just walk in and take us over. I see no hope given the idiots we have in government and the braindead and brain-washed voters who keep voting for the idiots.

@@brothermaynard3200 Different world we sent all our manufacturing to China.
No one in Australia wants to work in a factory for basic wage and no one in Australia wants to manage that sort of workforce.
Go to your local industrial area if you have one and see who works in what manufacturing we have.
