Sick. Combination of team work, skill, finesse, explosive speed, physical strength etc. You may not agree with me but I think this is the greatest sport world.
This is AWESOME! The first person view really shows how amazing stick handling is. Killer hand/eye coordination all while balancing on a tiny sliver of steel on ice.
i love this. it shows how good NHL stars really are. that kind of control is not seen in almost any other sport. then, add in all the physical aspects and I think its pretty clear hockey is one of the hardest sports to be good at
NBACoDGaming I think you should check out LA, the vast majority of their fanbase is banwagon fans. To prove my point check out how many people go to Anaheim Ducks games vs. LA kings games, and just see how the crowd reacts during a game. Its pathetic. Major cities like Chicago, New York, Pittsburgh and Philly have the most loyal fanbases in the country regardless of how good the team is. Any SMART person would know that.
Ryan Spalding But you still can't deny that a LOT of people became "fans" after the stanley cup in 2010. Cities like Toronto, Winnipeg,New York have a huge, loyal fan- base. There's no denying that
NBACoDGaming The majority of those fans are children, do you even realize that? Same with Chicago they have one of the most loyal fanbases out there. Perfect example when the Chicago Bears were one of the worst teams in the league they were still able to fill the stadium.
Charles Kahn While he is the best offensive player they have, I wouldn't say that makes him an all star. 25 points so far in the season is PHENOMENAL for a guys past his 40th birthday, but I don't think that makes him an all star. You think they trade him before the deadline?
I am not a big hockey fan (weird for a Canadian I know), but I definitely want to watch a hockey game with GoPro cameras in the mix. I love this footage.
I stop to play hockey because school almost a year ago but for some reason this video makes me miss so much, skate in the ice rink and be in the ice again you know what I'm gonna go tomorrow
If games are broadcast like this with a camera on each player.... I'm watching all the games... not just my team like I do now... all of them ... a total refresh to NHL game broadcasting .... awesome.
Another Great Video! I could use some help. Does anyone know the type of mount that revolves around their head/ helmet? I've seen it used it this video and the football video as well. I would really like to get one but i don't know what to look for. Any help would be great, thanks!
Videos like this are a great way to give non-fans a good look into the real skills these guys possess, keep it up - I'd love to get another one of these.
It looks like some of those shots have the camera mounted on some kind of pole or something that extends in front of them....how else could you see their face? And then there must by some kind of stabilizing/gyro type thing for when the player rotates around.
This intrigued me also. After a quick Google search, it may be a GoSpin360 or something similar. It is a bit large. Like a hands free selfie stick with counterweights on the opposite end. I don't think I could watch a full video of using just this mount because it can be dizzying. They use it well for this presentation, though.
Овечкин в отличие от них тренирует не то, что он показывает на видео, а то что он использует в игре. Именно поэтому он более результативный игрок, как впрочем и Малкин.
He was trying but he's far from NHL grade. They could have put Tuukka in the whole time but it wouldnt have been nearly as impressive because he wouldnt get beat on a lot of those shots
The entire video was awesome, such sick dangles by all the players! I think the coolest shot though was the one that was on Lundqvist's eyes while in net. It's crazy to see his level of concentration!
This video was all kinds of filthy! I, personally, would LOVE to see GoPros in an official game, but I'm going to try and be as realistic as possible... There's no way the NHL and NHLPA will allow players to wear gopros on them during an official game. Let's think logically... you put it on a player who's going to go all out, checking, blocking shots, taking shots, taking hits, etc. A few of them are bound to fall off and/or break (that's money lost). There's too much physicality in the game for the GoPro to be safe and secure. IF they do use them, they'll probably use them for shootouts (for however long the NHL decides to keep shootouts), put them on the refs helmets for different angles, and maybe on star players who are more likely to score highlight reel goals. There are very specific rules to the game involving sticks, helmets, equipment, etc. I feel like the NHL would have to change a few rules to get GoPro's on players during an official game. BUT, that's just my opinion... like I said, it would be awesome to see them, but I don't see how the NHL, NHLPA, and Player's Safety will allow it.
At the Spenlger Cup in Davos Switzerland, they put a camera and a microphone on one of the referees helmet so we can hear when the referee talks to the players and how he sees the game
Dude I have hit my GoPro with a big rock and had one ran over by a car and they both still work. Any footage of a GoPro getting destroyed will probably only get it more publicity. I'm pretty sure the last thing they are thinking is "Oh no, it might get broken"
I guess we'll just have to wait and see how they utilize it. I seriously doubt it'll find it's way on any player during an official game (especially with the way it looked during the super skill competition [i.e. all the antennas and wires around the helmet]), but it would be awesome to get a players perspective during every play.
They do have some kind of action camera on. But only for Hockey Night in Canada. Sometimes you'll see replays of calls or plays from the refs helmet. Hopefully GoPros will be used more frequently now.
Because the NHL All star game is MAJORLY FLAWED, For starters the fans should get to VOTE since the all star game is for them .This garbage quota of 1 player from a team is absolute nonsense. it just rob the fans from seeing truly the best players, For starters the jets Dustin Byfuglien made the All Star team , want to bet if the jets GM call the habs and ask for a one for one deal for Subban he would get laugh right off the phone.Because no one in their right mind is picking a dustin over a Subban.Thats why it was such a farce.
***** More toi, more goals, almost the same assists, more ppm, better +/-. Last 5 games buff got 7 points, pk got 4. I don't see how pk is doing better.
We are stoked to announce our partnership with the ***** and NHLPA. Watch hockey like never before with GoPro!

Just wait for the 1st Lawsuit with the helmet cam that shows that the gopro camera caused helmet failure.
Good luck with that.
Josip Mesic Are you high, or just incredibly stupid?
TheWizardofSolazz Josip Mesic he's prob both. This is gonna be great for the league and for the fans.
Matthew Russillo It's in the All-Star game and skills comp. I'm pumped.
This is great good work!
Video of the Day!
On the ice with the *****.
Tune in for today's All-Star game on NBC to see GoPro live broadcast action.
what is the helmet cam setup?
Andrew McGovern
Scott Thigpen It's a custom made skinny mount. Here's a photo of the mount we posted on Facebook. ow.ly/HX0IJ
cool thanks!
its pretty simple, I sent you 150+ ig #followers to show you it works. Just goto *InstaPhamous. COM*
Elite Athlete's. Some people just don't understand how talented Hockey players really are.
Oshie's fake slapshot move is incredible. His hands are insane.
I love that move. It's my signature shootout move in NHL 15. Ahahaha.
time stamp? not familiar with this sport :()
Jay 2:58
GO BLUES!!
dude in germany this sport isn't that popular. i would have never thought that you could do so many tricks in ice hockey. looks fun!
Canada ftw
Ice hockey is definately popular in germany dude
You should check out the DEL, it's Germany's largest league. Not as talented as the NHL, SHL(Sweden), Liiga(Finland) or KHL(Russia)

***** Isn't that the same thing?
Sick. Combination of team work, skill, finesse, explosive speed, physical strength etc. You may not agree with me but I think this is the greatest sport world.
This is easily the most impressive hockey video I've ever seen.
This is AWESOME! The first person view really shows how amazing stick handling is. Killer hand/eye coordination all while balancing on a tiny sliver of steel on ice.
What i love about gopro is that they really give you perspective. Never know hockey is this great before. Just WOW
this sport is so amazing just the skill you need to stay up with others knocking into you as well as being on ice and trying to keep the puck
i love this. it shows how good NHL stars really are. that kind of control is not seen in almost any other sport. then, add in all the physical aspects and I think its pretty clear hockey is one of the hardest sports to be good at
That moment your heart breaks a little bit when they get footage of dangles and dekes with out datsyuk... ;_;
Right? Can't believe he didn't make the All Star game either.
habitatsk8er711 I know! That made me so mad!
and kane was barely featured :/
Datsyuk did make the allstar game, they asked him to go out. He declined to take a rest during the break. I'm a wings fan by the way!
+halvo11 Yeah.. :( He's by far one of the most talented players in the league
Sick perspective of the ice, you can't get that w/o a GPRO! I thought using a GPRO in my cooking videos was unique! Dang!
Great job Kaner and Tazer! This was awesome, and eye candy for anyone who loves hockey.
and Blackhawk fans :)
NeverIntimidated Since 2010, huh?

Shot at the Devils Practice facility, yet no Devils in video. SMH.
Also would like to know
It was shot in the summer during the NHL media tour that takes place in New York. Devils practice rink is nearby.
Who would you include from that putrid offense?
***** Jagr.
Charles Kahn While he is the best offensive player they have, I wouldn't say that makes him an all star. 25 points so far in the season is PHENOMENAL for a guys past his 40th birthday, but I don't think that makes him an all star.
You think they trade him before the deadline?
Kinda gives you some respect of how incredibly good these guys are.
Such a hard sport to master, RESPECT!
Whoaaaaaaaaaa!!! Thats AMAZING!!!
I am not a big hockey fan (weird for a Canadian I know), but I definitely want to watch a hockey game with GoPro cameras in the mix. I love this footage.
This is the greatest hockey video I've ever seen in my life.
Greatest sport on the planet
Just goes to show how much talent is on display during any NHL game
When will we see the videos with Ovechkin and Hall??
Awesome to see the best up close and personal!
best sport for the gopro to come in use. and the best sport. period.
I stop to play hockey because school almost a year ago but for some reason this video makes me miss so much, skate in the ice rink and be in the ice again you know what I'm gonna go tomorrow

Wow, this is my new favorite thing.
This was sick! Loved watching the puck tracking from Henrik and the off the skates+ dangle. Sweeeeet.
since today i started liking hockey
Superb work! Hockey is fun watching from a distance, but in first person it's absolutely stunning!
These guys are ridiculous, they make it look so easy!
Best ice hockey Action i have ever seen, as a novice. This could increase viewers
Another Great Video!

I could watch this all day!
Hockey is actually pretty amazing
So stoked for this, looks amazing with these camera angles.
Where's the Taylor Hall one?
Videos like this are a great way to give non-fans a good look into the real skills these guys possess, keep it up - I'd love to get another one of these.
How does it rotate taking in consideration where the player is looking? It almost looks like it's follow-up cam
gopro had a rotating mount for helmets
momentum. on one end of the rotating bar is a weight.
It looks like some of those shots have the camera mounted on some kind of pole or something that extends in front of them....how else could you see their face? And then there must by some kind of stabilizing/gyro type thing for when the player rotates around.

miamif1ip
That was sick... Watching this not only gives me more respect for the players...but just imagine being a goalie tryna stop all that...whew.
Блин, с первой и до последней секунды, как на одном дыхании посмотрел
отлично смонтировали
that Tyler Seguin one where he was moving and stickhandeling three puck was unreal. and that catch at the end too
А где трюки от Овечкина? Просто так поулыбаться у борта пришел?
Овечкин в отличие от них тренирует не то, что он показывает на видео, а то что он использует в игре. Именно поэтому он более результативный игрок, как впрочем и Малкин.
Patrick Kane ови результативный игрок, а не гений дриблинга. Именно поэтому ему нет места в этом видео.
This is hands down the most incredible video I've ever seen. 2 thumbs way up!
Ребят, у вас чёрный на льду
David Mulhern you american man?
Russian nazi douchebag. Is nothing new here
Evgeny Demyanov A russian nazi? Are you a total moron?
russians were the best fucked up the canadians so bad
hockeygoon79 >tells nazi shit about african american
>not a Nazi because Rawshan
Probably you dumbass think Nazism is peculiar only to Hitler?
I've never seen such crazy hockey tricks. Holy cow.
i think i like hockey now
The sticking handling is just amazing
HOCKEY IS AWESOME!!!!!
Love that they had Parise and Oshie on the ice at the same time. Sioux boys!
The goalie in the black jersey wasn't even trying.
complete pylon lmao
McCraezy they put phaneuf in net
Prolly a college goalie he did try lol
He was trying but he's far from NHL grade. They could have put Tuukka in the whole time but it wouldnt have been nearly as impressive because he wouldnt get beat on a lot of those shots

Yo, A GoPro comes with a suuuper thick and smash proof casing. No way it will break.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see how they utilize it. Yes. They will.
new respect for the skill level of NHLers
Even if you hate hockey like me, you gotta like this. This is pretty dope
Gotta Love Greats Just Having Fun! Gotta Love GoPro!!
This is how good I'm going to be
Go for it darling - I know you can, put your heart in it and you will succeed!
I've watched this so many times!
They should have GoPros on the refs so we can hear the players chirping and view different angles.
They already do that
They do have some kind of action camera on. But only for Hockey Night in Canada. Sometimes you'll see replays of calls or plays from the refs helmet. Hopefully GoPros will be used more frequently now.
Except I doubt the NHL would release the actual chirps. They used GoPros a few times but the just showed goals
Bin Mucker47 haha, most of the time you can read their lips though
You can hear the mic'd up on you tube uncensored
For anyone wondering what the song is : Elizabeth Mott Ethan Galloway - Moving Mountains
So... how is Subban not at the All-Star game?
He doesn't have a good year
cuz the NHL wants every team to have at least 1 player. Which I think is dumb it should be the best of the best.
Because the NHL All star game is MAJORLY FLAWED, For starters the fans should get to VOTE since the all star game is for them .This garbage quota of 1 player from a team is absolute nonsense. it just rob the fans from seeing truly the best players, For starters the jets Dustin Byfuglien made the All Star team , want to bet if the jets GM call the habs and ask for a one for one deal for Subban he would get laugh right off the phone.Because no one in their right mind is picking a dustin over a Subban.Thats why it was such a farce.
flex master Not true at all. Depends on what type of player you want on a team. Also, Dustin is having a better season than P.K this year.
***** More toi, more goals, almost the same assists, more ppm, better +/-. Last 5 games buff got 7 points, pk got 4. I don't see how pk is doing better.
This is such a great video. Amazing puck handling skills!
go to 1:24
One of the best videos i have ever seen
What about Carey Price?
teemu selänne
+CRAFTYMANIAK Quick
ik
you mean what about Pavel Datsyuk! Carey would just save everything so it would be no fun to record :P
In case anybody is wondering what the song is in this video, it is Moving Mountains - Elizabeth Mott & Ethan Galloway
subban is lowkey filthy
Love these videos. Crosbys stick tricks at the beginning are really entertaining to me lol
КраСная машина ЧЕМПИОН !!!!!1))) СА ША ОВЕЧ КИН !)))
I feel so bad for the guy getting hip checked by PK. Lol
Was fun to watch!
Where's Ovechkin's part, he's better than everyone in this video, except for Toews.
+Noah Springer Better shot maybe, but that doesn't make for a very interesting GoPro video.
Rauta Arska still rather see him than oshie or parise
Noah Springer I'd rather see their stick handling from a GoPro point of view.
Ovechkin is by far the best goal scorer in the current league
+Dimitros has been for the past decade
Finally you posted a video of hockey, I was waiting for this so long
Anyone here has meant a NHL person in person
Elemental Elite a lot when they were in the AHL
Joseph Penn but I mean when there are in the NHL
01:23 the sickest effect I ever seen in a hockey montage.
тут все так ахуенно, весело. А как матч так нечего смотреть...
this really makes me wish they'd make a NHL streets hockey. these guys were amazing and that last trick shot, aww man
A sport where feminism will never win.
That doesn't even make any sense.
KQDUDE I agree, as soon as I read feminism I became lost.
KQDUDE Probably referring to things like NFL having the pink month, more women as side line reporters ecc...
Because women aren't dumb enough to watch hockey
I thought ichigo defeated you.
Where are Alex Ovechkin's and Taylor Hall's GoPro videos?
Looks amazing. You can see the skills.
As they say, that's a high degree of skill, right there... pure awesomeness.
I've been waiting for this for so long
The perspective of the guy being hit by Subban was awesome !
This is insane and awesome. Very cool perspective.
What an awesome perspective of what these guys' skills are like. This should shut alot of peoples mouths real quick. Great vid!
When they slowed down tuuka rask's save it almost looked like an nhl 15 clip. These guys are unreal!!
Fantastic video gopro and NHL. We need another but about 10mins long.
I finally got my Gopro yesterday! Great feeling!
this is great.. a new view in matches
Thanks for taking Portledges ice time.
LOVE IT! They make it look so easy!!
It is just awesome! Thanks for showing us something from behind the scenes... :)
Rask's save at 1:23 would have missed, but it would have been perfect for a NHL game cover!
SUBBAN IS A BEAST!!!
Wonderful tricks 😍😍
Wow this was really awesome!
how do they make it look like when jonathan toews 1:39 - 1:52 ? if its a mount what is it?
Those Goalie Saving Shots were my fav part :)
The name of the song is 'Moving Mountains' by Elizabeth Mott and Ethan Galloway.
