Hello! I'm 35 with 2 teenager kids and I love BTS... suffering from anxiety and panic attacks and have been through so much but they are one of the reasons why I'm happy. There's english translation of their lyrics too if you want to understand what are they singing about. But for me just hearing their voices and the melody of the songs gives me comfort. Thanks for the news coverage anyways.😊

Great coverage and loved that you guys touched on how music can transcend language! But it's a shame that there will always be the social stigma that BTS (or boy groups in general) are only for crazy-in-love teenage girls. It would've been nice to see male fans being interviewed or older fans, and not just parents chaperoning their children.
Yep! And when you watch this video, you can allready see so many fans of all ages and male fans walking by the camera and still they say teenagers, sad.
Hey, I'm a bigger ARMY than my daughters, too. I feel ya on the "rabid fans" headlines. So annoying. While waiting for parking, we had a cop ask us about the fandom. She said she was amazed that the fandom was so diverse and of all ages. She wanted to know what we liked about BTS. When we told her she said she might have to look into them. Woo Hoo!!! A new ARMY is born.
“Teenagers” I was there during rose bowl day 2, and trust me, 90% of the crowd there were well over 20 years old, and only about 10% of them were smaller teenagers. Not only this, but I saw people of all genders and ethnicity. So please. PLEASE stop generalizing ARMYs.

@@yoonjinlife9579 All the Armys around me are above 20. I am sure BTS has lots of teenage fans, but to sprout the word "teens" 10 times in a 3 minutes video seems like too much!!
There were definitely more than just teens at the concert but otherwise it was really nice seeing everyone just be happy and really thankful that BTS helped them through hard times
All of the ARMYs were really sweet, especially Lauren whom I think a lot of us fans can relate to. BTS have touched our lives deeply in ways where it's hard to even express fully with words. I hope all the ARMYs attending the tour have fun, enjoy the experience & love themselves more! 💜
Thanks for the spot on the BTS concert... Just FYI, a poll back in 2017 found that less than 20% of ARMY are teenagers (with over 50% over 30)... and a more recent poll found that there is a larger base over 40 than before. And I am seeing a lot of people older than teenage years in the video footage.... I get there was more than what we see in the clip, but the fanbase is VERY diverse in age, gender, nationality, language, and age.... Peace.
Research before you put the story out. Teens are not the only fan group for BTS unless you want to downplay BTS X Army power. Please get out of that teens only groupies idea. We are living in a different world now. I am probably BTS members grandmother's age and their music got me through the worst time of my life.

The assumption always seems to be that the adults are just chaperones of some sort. I’m a 65 yo BTS fan who flew from ATL to Fort Worth last year just for a BTS concert. My twitter feed is filled with fans 20-72 years old, both male & female. I have two sisters, 68 & 62, who knew BTS won Top Group/Duo at the BBMAs this year almost as soon as I did... they are >thisclose< to becoming part of the BTS ARMY... lol. If you view some of the demographic samples, you will see that the majority of BTS fans range in the 20-50 yo categories which is far higher than the age groups of other currently popular artists. The “teenager” descriptive is definitely overused by the media IMO.
ARMY isn’t just teenagers and girls. We are a family. A family of all ages and identities. We love and support BTS and each other. Love y’all ARMY! 💜Whether you’re a ARMY or not always remember you’re amazingly beautiful inside and out and also love y’all!💜
I am 64 and am proud to hold claim to being #BTSARMY .... You keep labeling ARMY as teenagers & you purposely chose a woman to say what she did ... WHY?? Start interviewing & showing the correct image of the fandom ...your news broadcasting labeling as you do has gone past irritating... why don't you try bringing news to public using the truth 😲 try something new!!
Donna L. Padilla I am 70. I am proud to be an Army too. I came to know them just last year. I have since felt so close to them already. They are truly my boys, so humble and down to earth n full of gratitude towards everyone.
Are you serious?!!! I'm 26. My mother who is 44 is ARMY. I was at the concert on 5/4 and I saw so many men and people of all ages and the majority aren't there just to accompany their kids. Ridiculous. Do your research.
'teenagers' again. I'll be 30 next year, and people keep calling us teenagers. you all took this video yourself, but you can't even digest that there are tons of mature ARMY here. media is always media
yall starting to get annoying with this. we are passionate and strong but yall gotta stop with the “frenzy, rabid, fangirl” type of mindset. people are speaking real things here and are overlooked because they’re just “brainless fangirls” this is why people are still finding it hard to welcome BTS’ success, because they are associating it with this fangirl narrative rather than the true experience of being a member of the ARMY. BTS are not just views and numbers. listen to the words they are saying and discuss their impact on our lives. *sigh.* anyways, support artists Bangtan Sonyeondan. they are legends.
Also thr guy interviewed the 1 and only woman who has no clue who they are and what they are saying. Bias news is at it again. Bias against BTS and ARMY. Also, thank you for saying the right name. 😁

The stigma of boyband = teen fans 🙄. I was at both D1 & D2 of their Rosebowl Stadium Concert and on D2 this was said “Where ever you’re from, whatever you’re speaking, or however old you are...tonight we are one.......At the same time you guys were BTS and we were your Army” - Kim Namjoon. Let that sink in. I am 30......and am a fan! Fans come in all different forms and not just teens sir!
It's not only teenagers who love bts for God sake, when they say it like that we can all get the meaning behind it, I am 25 I am not teen at all , my entire environment friends family are not teen , they love bts and I am not the only one even dad loves them
And then you have the nerve to say "fans of all ages" and interview an older woman who knows nothing about them just to further push the agenda of "screaming teenage girls" How rude and insulting!!
Many of these ppl you are showing are in their 20's and 30's. But no, you have to interpreting them as teenagers. Is US news incompetent or trying to manipulate public opinion?!

How many times do we have to tell you that most BTS fans are not teenagers? I'm 33, a nurse who loves BTS for their music, lyrics, songwriting and composing skills, live performances, but most of all their personalities. Stop this false narrative about their fans!!!
MAIN DEMOGRAPHIC IS 20s! SECOND LARGEST 30s!! Please stop with the teenage/pre-teen narrative. There's nothing wrong with young fans, but it's not accurate. The footage you are showing is negating your own script for heaven's sake!!

@Mic Jack Have you been to any type of large crowd event, from music to sports? This "screaming" is staple to all of them. Don't act like adults don't scream. We do.
As I look at the comments it looks like I'm not the only one annoyed that they constantly called Army teenagers. You could just see in the crowd that there are lot of adults too. I'm past my teenage years myself altough I'm only 21. I don't get why is it so hard to accept for the media that BTS has fans of different ages and try to push on the "crazy teenagers" look. But it's a shame that there will always be the social stigma that BTS (or boy groups in general) are only for crazy-in-love teenage girls. It would've been nice to see male fans being interviewed or older fans, and not just parents chaperoning their children.
You said everything I wanted to say.
Thank you!! That's what I am talking about💜🙌🏻
Yep! And when you watch this video, you can allready see so many fans of all ages and male fans walking by the camera and still they say teenagers, sad.
They just have bias to project on those BTS news. Mind manipulation.
@@葉美玲-r3g yep!
I am 29yrs.old a mom already but an "army"...
I know of somebody who's 49 and is an Army.
I know of someone who's 49 and is an Army...
Im 39 🙄 my daughters luv them. Me as their mom love bts more. Really fed up with 'teenagers' 'rabid fans' headlines.
“Teenagers”
I was there during rose bowl day 2, and trust me, 90% of the crowd there were well over 20 years old, and only about 10% of them were smaller teenagers. Not only this, but I saw people of all genders and ethnicity.
So please. PLEASE stop generalizing ARMYs.
Im almost 40 and im happy if u call me teenager 💃💃💃💃😂😂😂😂
Yeah forget that people of all ages listen to bts not just teen.
I haven't been a teenager for over 7 years, and about 99% of ARMY know we can look up translations.
Im 28 and my Girlfriend is 26 my mom is 65. We are ARMY since 2016. Huge respect for teen ARMYs but please don’t put ARMYs out as crazy teen girls cuz bro first our fandom consists of huge age bracket, second we aint crazy we’re passionate and third our fandom has a huge number of fanboys
That is so cute
Same here bro. I am also a hige fan of BTS same with my wife going to see them this Saturday, and my mom thinks they are very talented but isn't ARMY yet but working on it. 😁
God!!!! There you go again...TEENS!! You guys love to portray that don't u?
ikr
majority of us are 20 above
@@yoonjinlife9579 All the Armys around me are above 20. I am sure BTS has lots of teenage fans, but to sprout the word "teens" 10 times in a 3 minutes video seems like too much!!
always highlighted the word "teenagers",excuse me,, i'm 30 and an Army too.I'm sick of them trying to downgrade them
There were definitely more than just teens at the concert but otherwise it was really nice seeing everyone just be happy and really thankful that BTS helped them through hard times
Peace.
FYI! Its not hundreds of fans out der! Its THOUSANDS! Its a 2 days SOLD OUT! 60k x 2! 120k eyes in 2 nights sold out concert!
Research before you put the story out. Teens are not the only fan group for BTS unless you want to downplay BTS X Army power. Please get out of that teens only groupies idea. We are living in a different world now. I am probably BTS members grandmother's age and their music got me through the worst time of my life.
Yes I'm a 35 year-old Latina mother and I took my daughters best time ever
I'm 60 and my crowd all around the same age, we love BTS. Most of their fans are NOT teens read the stats!
BTS originally stands for Bang Tan Sonyeondan in Korean which means Bulletproof Boys! And yes theres's a lots fans in 20's'- 40's.
Thank you!! I am so done this Behind the scene name. Those are the new fans that made that up. We older fans are old school and will say the right name for BTS. But thank you for saying that too so i am not the only one. 👍
@@awesomejb9646 yeah. But BTS themselves have started using the beyond the scene thing. You can see it on their rosebowl concert tshirts.
@@magicshop96 so they are now Behind The Scene because newer fans say it is so they have to change their name while in the states?? I will keep calling them by their real name thank you. I am sorry if that came off mean but you can call them whatever you want.
@@awesomejb9646 hey calm down! I don't like that name either. I was just sharing an info that they themselves use it now. I prefer bangtan!
@@magicshop96 sorry yeah it was hard for me to come up with something that didnt sound too mean but i failed. But yeah I am an older fan, but well it is what it is.
So I guess that little boy that walk by is a teenager haha
And his dad. 😂
No one:
Literally no one:
News reporter: there are so many teenagers here😑
Adults: Yes thank you 😋
Maybe for reporters 30/40 y/o still consider teenagers😏...
33 yrs old here! 🙋🏻♀️ ARMYs are very diverse. 💜
He said teens because we all look so youthful DAM ARMY LOOKING GOOD SLAY WITH THAT SKIN 💜😎
So glad to see more adult comments, I’m 29 been a fan of the boys since I lost my grandma.
Word of advice stop referring to bts fanbase as teens, when a lot of us are not. Its incredibly rude.
OMFG I WANNA HUG THAT ONE GIRL WHO STARTED CRYING SO BAD 😢😢😢💕💕
im not a teenager but i guess thnx for covering this big news i've been their fan since 2014 im so happy and proud of them talent wins in the end so inspiring and so kind people
So great to see the parents , thanks BTS thanks to created a precious moments between parents and daughters ❤️
That girl who almost cried, I wish you happiness
Pretty sure most of these "teenagers" are in their 20's or 30's
Kpop craze?? Excusme, its just BTS craze
Teenagers? Sir, im 30 and im notary public. Im not a teenager anymore.
@@waichingchan3103 awesome ...hello fellow #BTSARMY 💜
I'm 64yrs old and I love B.T.S!
I'm also a fan of army's..love you fams
Are you serious?!!! I'm 26. My mother who is 44 is ARMY. I was at the concert on 5/4 and I saw so many men and people of all ages and the majority aren't there just to accompany their kids. Ridiculous. Do your research.
'teenagers' again. I'll be 30 next year, and people keep calling us teenagers. you all took this video yourself, but you can't even digest that there are tons of mature ARMY here. media is always media
I'm 57 and I'm a BTS fan. No joke. Great music is for any age.
Lol my my is really big fan of bts she's 50 now she's turning 51 in May 17 we hoping to see bts in May 15 in GMA summer concert🙏🙏💜💜
yall starting to get annoying with this. we are passionate and strong but yall gotta stop with the “frenzy, rabid, fangirl” type of mindset. people are speaking real things here and are overlooked because they’re just “brainless fangirls”
this is why people are still finding it hard to welcome BTS’ success, because they are associating it with this fangirl narrative rather than the true experience of being a member of the ARMY. BTS are not just views and numbers. listen to the words they are saying and discuss their impact on our lives.
*sigh.*
anyways, support artists Bangtan Sonyeondan. they are legends.
Also thr guy interviewed the 1 and only woman who has no clue who they are and what they are saying. Bias news is at it again. Bias against BTS and ARMY. Also, thank you for saying the right name. 😁
I am 58 , a grandmother and a BTS fan since 2016. If BTS will have a concert near my area again, I will ask my daughter to accompany me.
Not teenager😂😂😂... there are teenagers but stop generalizing
Really dude teenagers, Ugh, most of the (family) are in our 20s and 30s
And guys and not just teenage screaming girls. They always do this everytime they cover a concert of theirs.
Lol i'm 27 year old, holds a degree, owns a car, and has a 9-5 job. Thanks for calling me a teenager just cuz I love BTS.
33years old
And i'm a proud ARMY.. If one of the mother only accompany her doughter, it doesn't mean the other older do so, i bet a lot of older ARMY also there, it just we dont showing much, we more calm and not that expresive..even tho our heart gonna explode knowing will meet the boys..
Im 47,my wife 43 and our 15 yo daughter and 10 yo son got us into the bts army ...BTS RULES!!!!!!!!
ARMY ≠ teenagers
ARMY = BTS' family (babies to seniors)
BTS ≠ Beyond The Scene
BTS = Bangtan Sonyeondan (translated: Bulletproof Boys)
It's not only teenagers who love bts for God sake, when they say it like that we can all get the meaning behind it, I am 25 I am not teen at all , my entire environment friends family are not teen , they love bts and I am not the only one even dad loves them
And then you have the nerve to say "fans of all ages" and interview an older woman who knows nothing about them just to further push the agenda of "screaming teenage girls" How rude and insulting!!
Absolutely agree!
Many of these ppl you are showing are in their 20's and 30's. But no, you have to interpreting them as teenagers. Is US news incompetent or trying to manipulate public opinion?!
"teenagers". I'm tired of it and this word truly irritated me.
someone complains to the TV station, it is a non-professional report on media. Not true and not responsible !
Omg I was there 😂 I'm surprised they didn't get a clip of me lol
29 year old here 👋 I started following them when I was 24.... so out of my teenage years
aww the fans look very sweet ^^ im sure they all had a great time’
51 year old ARMY here and I was at that concert! ARMY represented BTS well in this little clip. ARMIES are good people. It was the nicest crowd I've ever seen.
💙💛❤🖤💜💚🧡
What's up with "Teenagers"? .. I'm 49 and my son is 24 his into opera and I'm a BTS ARMY since 2014
How many times do we have to tell you that most BTS fans are not teenagers? I'm 33, a nurse who loves BTS for their music, lyrics, songwriting and composing skills, live performances, but most of all their personalities. Stop this false narrative about their fans!!!
wow..... some of these ‘teenagers’ look a lot older 😳
MAIN DEMOGRAPHIC IS 20s! SECOND LARGEST 30s!! Please stop with the teenage/pre-teen narrative. There's nothing wrong with young fans, but it's not accurate. The footage you are showing is negating your own script for heaven's sake!!
I’m literally 12 years old and i discovered bts when I was like 9 or 10 because of my big brother💜
Is 40 yo teenage too?? Hmmmmm 🤔
I'm 35 and I'm so annoyed by this reporting
@@Tish256 look at all the past concert media coverage they are just like this dude. They only see screaming teenage girls. Us fanboys do not exist. Also the adult fans do not exist either. I am 28.
Guess now it is. What an age of science that the new "teen" goes to 50-80yo. And I'm glad we've progressed enough as a society that the term "girls" may be directed at all sexes.
@@em5522 I guess.
I was there!!! Best night ever!! Who else went on May 4th?!?
My mom is in her late 40's and loves BTS as much I do (I'm 27). We attended both of the Rosebowl concerts!
It's really becoming annoying....
ARMY is a very diverse fandom, you can find people of all ages, different ethnicities and religions...
I'm 20 and my dad is 50, we're both army since 2014, a year BeFoRe their debut!!!!! There was not just teenagers there, loads and loads of adults were there if you didn't notice.
God news get the facts straight please or some people won't stop bothering you.
We aren't all cringe fan girl teens. I am a 15 year old Male ARMY. The fandom has huge diversity.
⚠️WARNING FELLOW ARMYS⚠️
If you are going to the concert, keep in mind that there will be MANY news reporters. Please don't show them the "teenage girl" side of the ARMY and fangirl on camera. Show them how philosophical their messages are and how they do so much to give back. Make sure to tell them how they've helped many people around the world with their positive messages during rough times. Any other things you find interesting and important too! Thank you so much! 💜💜💜💜
Can you do your homework before reporting something like this Carlos? Just because we look young and joyful doesn't mean we are all teenagers. You had a chance to witness something amazing and positive yet your ignorance still decides to show.
I don't deny we can be pretty crazy sometime but that doesn't mean we're all underaged kids.
I also love BTS so much
Dude.....calling 20 -30 years old teenagers is not it.
