  • IN THIS VIDEO I WILL BE DOING A REVIEW ON THE NEW SHOCKS THAT I BOUGHT FOR MY HONDA FORZA 350.
THE SHOCKS ARE THE RACING BOY VD SERIES IN TITANIUM RED.
I WILL BE DRIVING MY MOTORBIKE UP THE MOUNTAINS OF THAILAND TO SHOW YOU ALL HOW THE SHOCKS PERFORM AND IF THEY ARE WORTH THE 250 USD THAT I PAID FOR THEM.
I HAVE ATTACHED A GOPRO HERO 9 ONTO THE BACK OF MY MOTORBIKE SO I CAN SHOW YOU ALL HOW THE SHOCK PERFORMS UNDER 3 ROAD-TYPE CONDITIONS.
PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO TO THE END AS I WILL LEAVE YOU MY HONEST REVIEW ON WHAT I THOUGHT ABOUT THE SHOCKS.
THANKS FOR WATCHING AND SUBSCRIBING TO MY CHANNEL.

Glad to hear they worked out, it's just such a shame that you need to change a major part of your bike to make it acceptable, this is a bit shameful for a new bike from a major manufacturer with the reputation of Honda 🙄 and I'd sure be making sure they know it 👍🏻

The big four Japanese manufacturing companies always reduce costs , with motorbikes . Usually , Exhaust systems or suspension, Knowing the Clients will always upgrade . Its Bullshit . However they all scratch each others back. Make maximum profits and we suck it up ???

On pcx front and rear suspension is a joke, under sprung, orifice tube damping which makes It both harsh and simultaneously wallows like a pig. But it's a fairly cheap bike, so upgrading isn't unexpected if you want the best ride and feel. But on the Forza it's a major embarrassing for Honda , been back to dealership so many times that honestly just want rid of it, front wallows, crashs and fully bottoms out hitting a 15mm road defect at 30 kph. And the rear has at least 30mm of totally undamped movement as the entire front of the engine cradle moves downwards and then slams into the frame making a horrible metallic clunk as well as making the bike shudder uncontrollably. On any big potholes it just feels like the frame is broken, been like this since day 1. It's as if the rear engine cradle is missing a piece, like a rubber bush or cushion. Back end of bike has a noticeable 10mm side to side movement when on ground or side stand (on centre stand it's like a 30mm movement).
Engine and brakes good, but the rest is honestly pathetic. Piaggio and Kymco are likely will be replacing this Forza 350, never ever thought I'd say that

after watching your last review and subbing i decided to drop a deposit on a 350 forza due here in Oz late july. might think seriously about trying to line up a set of these shocks too. that way by the time the bike arrives here i can do a quick shock swap. in actual fact i thought that was one of the quickest rear shock changes i'd viewed

Well done....there are other TH-camrs who own the Forza 350 with upgraded shocks, so it must be a common issue. Honda should be looking into a recall for a suspension update....maybe reach out to Honda in Japan.

  • @vlnow
    @vlnow 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I upgraded suspension on my Aerox recently. Made a huge difference. I did it in stages. First the front ( yss upgrade kit) and later the rear ( yss eco line heavy duty ).
Imo the most important and most impactful thing to upgrade is the front for improving handling, cornering and breaking. And the cheapest to upgrade.
Rear do helps a little in corners, a little bit, but more for comfort imo over bumps imo, not a huge upgrade in corners at all. Maybe front improves corners 75% rear adds final 25%.
So upgrade the fronts too if you get a chance.
This is just my experience on Aerox, might be different for you

Hey man! Loving your videos about the Honda Forza 350. Shame we in Europe don't have that gorgeous red color..
I'm deciding between the XMAX 300 and the Forza 350, and I was definetly more inclined to go with the Forza, but I'm having second thoughts because of the suspension of the Forza.
I still have to try them both for sure to see what's more fitting for me, but I'm a heavier guy compared to you. I must say tho, those shocks look damn good!
    Happy riding from Portugal!

The shocks seemed to use only a small part of their travel, and no damping was apparent as they moved up as quickly as they compressed. No information on the new shocks, regarding what adjustment is possible -- this guy is all hat and no cattle.

If your asking how I like the shocks well they are great.
If you want I compair apples to oranges well you tube does not pay me a penny for my channel so I cant test other brands and let the world know my feedback.
I can put 2 heavy people on the bike with lots of bags and they don't bottom out and that's what I like.
They work much better then original and they are not exspencive.
