The last I used thermal paper like this was in the 90s in a cheap fax machine. The Problem with thermal paper is, that the print disappears after a while ( a year or so).
I have papers that were printed 4 years ago, in a thermal printer and you can't tell, it's not faded or anything. I have a ream of paper now that says it'll last 10 years without fading

Can this machine print on ordinary thermal paper for fax or it only print on special thermal paper that is made by hprt?

If you think this is a good printer, you are living in 90´s. Pay some more and you will get something usefull.
