Getting the Concrete guy out to measure and line up a date. Cured concrete pad is all we lack for getting the animals in this barn. But will we have enough hay to last? ALSO, last day treating Family cow for Mastitis, chores in the rain, and plenty of farm fresh cooking.

I don't know if it was the rain or the creek but that water sounded beautiful!

In the north up by Lake Superior, where they get TONS of snow, they pour concrete even in winter. Not a problem, except it's miserable for the person pouring & leveling it.

Justin, two ideas that will make your barn better. once the concrete is cured you ought to seal the surface, both watching from livestock liquids and the concrete can pick up orders. the posts need a sealant up to 6" above the bedding, posts will last longer
