Dennis do you ever think about all the things you can do? -Welder and fabrication -Equipment operator -Manager -Mechanic -Equipment transporter -Farmer -Video production (planning, filming, editing). -Job site Forman -Woods man (cutting, and splitting and hauling). PLUS FAMILY Incredible how you can do it all.
I love your videos. This one made me cry. Cry you ask, as a little girl I would always be with my Daddy in his shop. He did it all. He's now 87 and not able to do much. I miss those times. Keep videos like this coming. It brings back Great Memories. Thank you
Glad to see you posting some videos again! I have a halverson skid steer wood processor and it needs some welding from time to time as well. Nothing is immune to large oak knots. Nice fab work!
That’s true, but they had plenty of room to add more gussets in there from the factory. I think the newer ones are built stronger from what I understand.
When you put it back in the shelter I wonder if you could rig up something to try and divert the sawdust over to your conveyor, I absolutely love your setup but that would make it even better. Take care
Bud ,you had me talkin to the screen when the straightening was happening. I've seen that stuff come out of a press like a bullet. Just be careful.....You need them digits.
Dennis I think this processor is for the home owner and not for professional type work. It might be time to think about a replacement. There are so many manufacturers out there now offering processors.
@@DLHFarms It could be for a home owner, that didn't own a camper, a Harley, and a boat, and he liked cutting firewood every weekend, instead of playing. . LOL

Wow I’ve never really thought about that. 😳

Aww. I’m glad to bring back memory but sorry to make you cry.
You’ve definitely got your moneys worth out of that machine. Glad to see you got it tweaked back to where it used to be
Thanks!
Definitely going to be Stronger in those areas Dennis. With the Heavy work load Splitters do, it held up good, now even better
Great job Dennis 👍🏻
It’s been holding up great so far and this was done about a year ago.

Hello Dennis,
I think it would have been faster to cut off the old plate and build a new one. Love the videos. Keep up the good work.
Nice work Dennis, looks good as new. Now your helper can get to work.
That’s right haha
Great Seeing you again and thank you for the great videos
Thanks for watching!
Nice work Dennis enjoyed your video. Paint wears off fast I know. I have a splitfire wood spliter best out there. Have a great day.
Great job back at it 👍🏻🇺🇲
Looks brand new brother, have a great day. Ron

I’ve been wanting to do that. I need a piece of hdpe plastic or somthing.
If you add a little soap to that water extinguisher it will foam a bit and really help with keeping the fire from re-igniting.
Thanks for the info
Good morning Dennis! Never fails, seems you always fill the greaser. Hate when that happens.😅
Every time. How does it have 3 pumps in it then it’s out! Haha

That’s why I was hiding behind the press frame
Use a hydraulic Jack and a block of wood to bend the plate upward.
Good video.
Thanks!

I don’t think it was for home owner at $28,000 and that was in 2010 but probably not full on commercial work. It only has about 1500 hours.
