    I love your content…especially this one. I am my husband’s caregiver (he’s a disabled veteran) and we spend most of our time at home. I try to make our home as comfortable and “retreat-like” as possible….and I think it’s so important to use the “good dishes” or the “good towels”….🤣😇

    I just gut renovated my teeny tiny condo bathroom (88 sq feet) and I’m in love with it. Decided if I was going to have such a small bathroom it was going to be as cool as possible. Used long skinny black tile in the shower, took down drywall and repaired the old brick behind it, custom marble floor and sink drawer, brass fixtures. All so worth it.

ALSO I LOVE that shower head!!! What is that finishing called? Like an antique silver 😍 I’d love to know where you got it! Such a unique finishing.

    OMG! You are cracking me up today Valentina! Come on people, I love the trash can! Lol! I enjoy your you tube ideas! It’s the small items that you get excited about. But, I do agree it’s a little things, I am currently trying to limit too much cluttered items on my counters & it helps to maintain the space & has a beautiful look. I guess that would be more intentional decor decor. I like a traditional modern/farmhouse look, with color& black pieces. Warmth! I am in the middle of a budget friendly bathroom update, paint & a new countertop & I hope the finished look will be as I have imagined for it. It’s a bit out of my comfort & trial errors to trim it out, but, it’s worth the effort. Thanks

    Love the recommendation to add scent. Candles are A+. An alternative to open fire is easy and innexpensive. Spray scent on your TP roll on the outside edge or cardboard center each time you change the roll. I use high quality oil + dollar tree isopropyl + dollar tree spray bottle = super innexpensive and refillable option.

    • @wcouch8
      @wcouch8 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@nicolamedrano8110 it dilutes the oils so they easily spray without hurting the oils, then it quikly evaporates leaving them nicely distributed. i use this trick for a lot of oils ... TP in the bathroom, peppermint to keep the mice out of the big trash can, and more.

      Pothos! Buy actual houseplants which are for low light. Realize that most potted flowering plants that look so pretty in the store won’t look that way long in your home. Not your fault. Think of them like cut flowers but maybe last longer.

    I have been obsessing over having an open trashcan in my bathroom too! I keep buying and returning them because it just drives me crazy! I finally just started using a paper plant pot under the sink: I throw my trash in it while I’m getting ready, empty it out into the kitchen trash, and then slip it back under the sink. (I live in an apartment, so the kitchen trash is like two feet away.) I figure if I have guests over, I’ll hand them a plastic bag for their trash, lol! I even bought a beautiful basket weave trash can from Pottery Barn for $60! But I’m sending it back because now it’s like my trash can is too precious and if someone were to throw something wet in there, I’d have to end them.😅
