Young man did great on the filming. Nice spooling station. I use a long screwdriver, thru the spool, clamped into my vice with slight tension on it by pushing it farther into the vice, at no expense , since I already have a vice and screwdriver.
Talk about perfect timing . Just got in a 3000 yd spool of Sufix and forgot about the hole size in the spool. Was gonna super glue a couple empty stsndard size spools to the sides in order to use my lining station. LOL. Cameraman did a fine job , hire him.
Gotta give you props for the Mystery Tackle Box tee as well! Great job on the tool. Easy and brilliant. Pay the camera guy. He's 12 now. Probably earned a raise by now.
Good idea,. I have done it that way before,. But I had to use a different type nut, the spool turning opposite direction of the tightening nut,. It kept loosening up.
how important is it to keep tension on your reel cause all i do is just stick a screwdriver through spool hole and just use hand to keep tension on line before it enters reel didn't know if that was enough or do i need certain amt of tension to properly spool line
Order directly from Seaguar. That one he used is Seaguar Senshi. Best mono there is. Huge sale right now. seaguar.com/shop-direct/shop_seaguar/senshi-monofilament.html/
hey make a rubber grommet and a rubber nut with shoulders at Lowe’s that will work as an adapter for those spool that let you use Berkley spooling station. I just spool 3 baitcaster with mine. It worked great! They were a $1.48 each. You can find them in the same area as the furniture hardware.
