Fun fact; the reason why (we here) in Britain call artichokes Jerusalem is due to a mispronounciation of the French name, the French name references the visiblly Heliotropic nature of artichoke flowers. Heliotropic means it follows the sun as it goes around the sky, whilst all plants are heliotropic you can actually see artichoke flowers follow the sun

I love this series. So much respect for Josh and his self-confidence. He seems to just enjoy and have fun, but doesn't hang any of his worth on the result. I so admire that. I'm watching these out of order, but so far all the critics seem to have been really respectful and have a good sense of fun. Patrick is a delight. What a lovely man.

Fantastic video, and props to the critic. It was a delight hearing his opinions and standpoints on food and food critiquing as a whole. He sounds like someone who has a lot of wonderful morals and ideas about more than just food

Patrick got me choked up when he was talking about memorable food experiences. Some of my best memories come from eating food with my friends. I always say the deepest conversations I ever have always start in the kitchen.

The fact that my name is also Josh and the number of times my brain overlaps with MC Josh's brain overlaps is astounding. When he said "A Rob Halford scream" my brain went "Ah, yes, Judas Priest" before second guessing myself and Googling his name to find out I was right and I frankly don't know which dark recess of my brain that bit of random trivia came from. But of course, to be Frank, I'd have to change my name.

That kind of knowledge is the kind that threatens your sanity. Just embrace it. We've seen and tasted things other people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion...burger, but cold. And now....we know good vomit is a thing.

This has easily become one of my favorite segments! What goes through the mind of a food critic knowing they are getting crazy things. I have honestly been skipping the Last Meal shows. I liked the one with 24k but after that...I just lot interest in it. These are a lot of fun. Thank you for the fun content! If you ever need just an extra Guest Audience member, I would be happy to drive out and watch LOL. Been teaching myself to cook over the last 8 years and this show always reminds me to push my limits of what I knw and not be afraid of the unusual!

I make crepes in my college dorm room. It’s easy to keep eggs and a little jar of flour in my room, and super quick to mix and cook. Fun tip! If you want an easier time making an even crepe drip across the whole pan then just thin out your batter a little bit with water, which makes it runnier and easier to handle. The water just cooks out
