Aloe vera has 20 of the 22 amino acids that humans need, including 7 of the 8 essential amino acids, so it does not have ALL the amino acids, and it would not be the ratio needed for human utilization. That depends on what type of protein you are referring to. Another way of asking the question is how many grams of essential amino acids a way is going to take care of all the protein, enzymes and peptide production needs of the body?

The surest way is to take an amino acid blend such as the one developed by Dr Minkoff called Perfect Amino. This is catchy, and somewhat convincing. But when I look at the RDA for protein the Perfect Amino product recommendations are way out of line the RDA. It seems that the supplement industry and the TH-cam experts are way far away from the science when it comes to the virtues of consuming very high amounts of protein and amino acids.
@@JoyKongMD Bingo! I don't trust any of the three letter agencies. I have been taking David's Perfect Aminos for almost six years now and i know how well they work. I am a 63 year young lady. I always tell folks to do their own research and to question everything.
Have to remember that the RDA is based on a cross section that includes more sick people that healthy people to get those numbers. You can use RDA and be sick or you can work towards optimization...your choice!
In his explanation, he talks about the body's ability to utilize all the amino acids in proteins we consume from different food sources. For meat and fish etc, we are only able to utilize about 32% of the amino acid, and the excess will be turned into sugar or eventually deposited as fat by the body. Perfect amino's utilization rate is 99%.
@@JoyKongMD every body is different, so for him to say that is a bit unscientific. But I can tell you from experience, fatty red meat 🥩 will give you most of what you need. Try it, I dare you and feel the nutrition!
Our digestive enzyme levels decline with age, as well as suboptimal microbiome composition all affect how we can able to digest protein and extract amino acids from the protein we consume. Also, the amino acjd composition may not be optimal as far as containing proper ratios of the essential amino acid so our body will not be able to utilize it efficiently and adequately to build proteins. This is why he's seeing such drastic recovery in athletes by consuming these essential amino acids, also recovery of patients suffering from various conditions.

It is really sad to see the state of medicine these days. You may be in listening to an interview of me just published a few hours ago and I discussed this:
th-cam.com/video/__g6liaeqN8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=riMNH6gS9yK8adLq
This is catchy, and somewhat convincing. But when I look at the RDA for protein the Perfect Amino product recommendations are way out of line the RDA. It seems that the supplement industry and the TH-cam experts are way far away from the science when it comes to the virtues of consuming very high amounts of protein and amino acids.
Dr Minkoff has delve deep into protein and amino acids. It won’t surprise me if he is way ahead of the people who made up the numbers for the RDA…
Look up Julia Ross, the craving cure, mood cure, diet cure Author. Very interesting trials about amino acid therapy
Rda are limits to avoid disease. Not thrive.
Instead of just eating good red meat 🥩, buy this product! Sad…
😊
The speech to text is too "woke"....
"I said I'm gay" 😂😂😂
Curious which part you are referring to...
It's been a couple of days, but it was when he said "I'm game".
@biolayne did a whole segment on this.
Great! I’ll look for it.
Just eat meat folks.
Nope. I even tried Carnivore and it didn't work. Essential Amino Acids recovered my health after 20+ years of hell.
Had to wait for 30 mins to hear anything about amino acids. Lol.. What a boring video... Not what I expected. Just read about amino acids and you'll be good
Sorry you feel that way. Dr Minkoff has a lot of information and wisdom to share. Hopefully you learned something interesting. A lot of people have found it helpful. Best of luck to you on your health journey.
