I came to the conclusion while watching episode 3 that the second studio needs to de-make the first episode to gaslight us into forgetting about how good the first one was 😂😂😂

3:43 I thought things looked a little off when I first watched this episode, but that punch is what made me realize that, yeah, this wasn't the same quality as last episode. And that running animation in the beach was... wow.

Episode one was great episode 2 was very disappointing and episode 3 was better than 2 but still meh in animation/ pacing

I was honestly traumatized by the fact that him and his bully both turned into snails then MATED and laid EGGS. It just disturbed me. I wasn’t the same for like 2-3 days

sad to say but if episode one was slightly less intricate then maybe they could've spread the budget more evenly so the animation difference wasn't so jarring

Who would have expected Katayama and Tsumura to have an enemies-to-lover arc, amirite?
That being said, I didn't really see a disconnect between the quality of the two eps. I just accepted it as part of the stylized nature of the show. I mean, I've seen worse (cough, High Guardian Spice, cough).
