    hey mate can you set this to only trigger after something has been opened for 5 minutes or so. for example it only triggers if youve forgotten to close your garage door but doesnt trigger every time you open it. thanks

      Just Out are you still using the sensors? Are they worth it? I’m guessing so since you made a video on them and got a second device 😅

    hey thanks for very informative videos. is there any way to change the alert notifications to continuous alert, like an alarm keeps going until you stop it. i feel like it's not enough to wake me up at the moment.

      Hey mate, I don’t think that there is anyway to do this in the Mirabella app. You may be able to us IFTTT, but I am not sure if it’s still supported by Mirabella at this stage.

    Does it send you a notification even when your phone isn’t on the wifi? Eg when you’re out at work or shopping?

      Hey mate, yeah it will still send you a notification even when using mobile data.

    I was looking at these (and the motion sensors) to do what you've done with your lights, but does the Mirabella App have a way to turn off lights again after a certain time? Opening the door and the hallway coming on is great, but then your lights are on when you're out of the hallway.

    • @JustOutOfficial
      @JustOutOfficial  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey mate, you can set a delay and have them turn off after a certain amount of time. I haven’t made any content for a while, but I am in a new home and now and have a bunch more of Mirabella’s products throughout. My work is crazy busy, but I will try to get back to making some more videos soon!

    I have Lenovo Wi-Fi sensors that are linked to the Smart Life app and Alexa. I can now get Alexa to announce when each sensor opens or closes and a myriad of other routine actions. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

    Dude, thanks for your videos and the time to make them for us.
    Im moving off Telstra smarthome which they are decommissioning, which is a real pain, brought so many products and now defunct.
    Looking to a new setup particularly for door and motion sensors that do not require a hub.
    How have you found the Genio re reliability and range?
    Thanks again

      Hi Bob
      I've found all of their products to be really reliable. I would definitely recommend picking up a decent router if you don't already have one. I'm using a Netgear Nighthawk.

    Thanks for the video.
    I’d like to know how you get your sensor to trigger your light ?
    I can’t find it in settings.

      did you manage to get it to work with your lights?

    • @JustOutOfficial
      @JustOutOfficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In the app click on Smart at the bottom, Automation at the top, than the plus symbol to setup an automation. Select the ‘when a device status changes’ option, choose the sensor you want, click switch and choose open or closed depending on what your trying to achieve, choose the ‘run the device’ option, than choose the light you want to trigger, select switch and on. That’s it, hope this helps.

    So how do you replace the batteries without consistently ripping off the sticky stuff

    • @JustOutOfficial
      @JustOutOfficial  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Press the button and pull and it splits in two. The side with the adhesive stays on the door and the side with the battery comes off. When you split it you will receive a notification that the tamper alarm has been tripped.

      Not that I am aware of. Might be a way to achieve it using IFTTT, but Mirabella dropped IFTTT support as far as I’m aware.

    • @JustOutOfficial
      @JustOutOfficial  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Simon, sorry for the late reply. It’s compatible with Google and Alexa. So if I am driving and can’t open the app, I can ask Google “is the garage door closed” and it will give me the status of the sensor.

    • @simonmarks8819
      @simonmarks8819 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. I have Google Wifi but struggling with getting the sensor to talk to it’s 2.4 ghz wifi connection. Seems there is a hack that is to do with mobile hotspots with the same name as your wifi modem.

      @@simonmarks8819 I have just uploaded a video on my TH-cam channel that you might be interested in. Instead of Genio I use Lenovo contact sensors to trigger routines through the Smart Life skill and Alexa. You can do a whole lot more of things with Alexa, compared to Google's basic commands.
