    Great video. I'm upgrading my home gym and leaning heavily towards the Titan for a few reasons. Seeing some 24" models reviewed is fantastic. Also, the height and width options are among the main reasons I'm looking at Titan vs. Rogue, which has 0 flexibility in the power rack arena. Plus, their lat extension makes the rack even taller.

    This is the rack I’m thinking of upgrading to. Also thought that safeties didn’t come standard was odd. This is a 2 x 3 right? Seems like all the cool kids have 3 x 3.

    • @LukesGarageGym
      @LukesGarageGym  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That was odd to me too. I ended up getting straps instead of the safety poles! I like them a lot better! And yeah 2x3! I’ve got the isolator and two of revolt fitness products on mine and it’s fine! A lot of companies are compatible with 2x3 thankfully!

    I got my Titan T3 rack in the first spring of covid. It has been so awesome!! It is great that it fits my space perfectly, 82 in height and 36 in depth, which is great for squatting. Also, the depth helps to make it even more stable. It was easy to put together and was able to do it rather quickly. It makes me feel so safe to workout alone and it didn’t break the bank for me, mid $400s with the 4 plate holders. What a great price and probably less than half of Rogue. I put different colored electrical tape, from Home Depot, next to the holes I use and labeled what exercise it is for. The tape has stayed on since i first put it on. This way, I don’t have to remember which hole is for which exercise. Even if he hole were numbered, i would still have to label it somehow. The labeled, colored tape is on there…. Less to remember…. Just work out.

      Man right! You can’t beat the price for solid quality! Dude, I love that idea too. Didn’t think of that! I’m always counting which one I have to use off memory, so it’s a pain. Great tips my man! Appreciate you watching and hope you subscribe and checkout more of my home gym content!

    Nice info. I’m looking to buy T3 squat stand. Can the pulley or lat attachment be added to stand or have to convert to half rack first?

    • @LukesGarageGym
      @LukesGarageGym  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      From what I’m understanding it’s only for the power rack for the t3. You could always get the plate loaded lat tower from Titan that stands alone and still have your squat stands! The plate loaded is $500 right now. My dad has and really had enjoyed. Let me know if this helps or if you need me to look further into it! Wanna make sure you get the best help!

      I am newbie to weights. Lifting with dumbbells so far. Just bought barbell snd plates. Now looking for squat stand. My squat is only 70 lbs. I don’t think I can lift more than 200 lbs in my life. For these reasons, thinking power cage/rack might be overkill and want to buy squat stand that is sturdy.
      People saying don’t go for cheap Amazon ones as they aren’t that good.
      So narrowed down to T3 squat stand. Probably will get the pull up bar and spotter arms.
      What do you suggest? Do you think it’s wise choice to go for t3 stand based on my needs?
      Thank you for your quick response.

    • @LukesGarageGym
      @LukesGarageGym  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bluepink3413 I would say the route you are taking makes perfect sense! Titans racks work just fine, and they are at an affordable price. I’ve never physically seen the t3 squat stand in person, but assuming it’s similar quality to my power rack, then I say it’s a smart play to go for it. Shoot, if you do, go to my website in the description and use my link if you do decide to. Helps the channel a lot.

    Appreciate your review of the T3 Titan Rack. I’ve had a bench press and combo weight stand/squat stand for years, but was ready to upgrade. I’ve been researching for about 6 months now, reading and watching similar videos like yours. It came down to either Titan, Rogue or Rep Fitness. Titan won out due to pricing and because of all the extra attachments/accessories that can be added to it. I placed my order 2 days ago and due to a special they were running, got an extra 5% off the price. On top of that they were running a Memorial Day sale and several of the attachments I ordered were on sale too. I got the 91” rack, 36” depth, (I’ve got the space and figured the 36” may be a little more stable.) I also added a multi grip pull up bar, series X dip bar attachment, wrist roller, pin pipe safeties and an adjustable pull up bar that uses quick release pins so the bar can easily be moved up and down the uprights. (I got the adjustable pull up bar really for my wife so she can use it for easy body weight exercises). Anyway, I’m looking forward to receiving it. Thanks again. Keep on lifting.

      @@LukesGarageGym I also got the 4 pack of weight plate holders that I forgot to mention in my original comment. I don’t plan to bolt the rack to the floor and hope stored weight plates will keep the rack stable. If you have any thoughts on the stability of it not being bolted, I’d appreciate it. Lastly, as I already sold my weight stand/squat stand bench press combo, I’m going to need a new bench. I’m shopping for a nice FID bench. If you have recommendations on that, it would be appreciated.

    • @LukesGarageGym
      @LukesGarageGym  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s the same ones I had. Ended up tossing them out and got the strap system. They have other spotters that are separate that are $92 right now. I’d get those. The ones that come with kept chipping and seemed junky.

    • @tomjones8235

      @@LukesGarageGym I need to know what the hole size and center to center spacing of the holes on the safety arm of the spotter system. Do you know where I might go to get that information?

      @@LukesGarageGym Yes. The Titan site indicates that the T-2 spotter arms will fit on a T-2 rack, but don’t indicate the size of the holes on the safety arm or the spacing.
      I have a Rep PR-1100 rack. A number of people have indicated that T-2 attachments work on the PR-1100, except that the cinch pin won’t work because the T-2 upright holes are two inches apart and the PR-1100 upright holes are 3 inches apart. So far so good.
      I want to put a Darko Thresher Pad on the spotter arms. The Thresher Pad works with 3x3 spotter arms. I am am willing to use shims to get the Thresher Pad to work with 2x2 spotter arms, but the holes on the spotter arm need to be property spaced.
      I know, it is a pain in the butt workaround.
