Thank you for a very clear explanation. It left me wanting to know more. If only a few creationists would watch it too, but some of the leaders in that field like Fen Ham would studiously avoid its content in case it killed his business!
Well done and complete explanation of Dendrochronology, rhythmites and ice cores in a very concise manor! Can't wait to see a YEC explanation for your presentation that does not amount to MAGIC, were you there or other such nonsense.
That Methuselah tree blew my mind. Nearly 5 thousand years old....and I thought protesting old growth logging in south west WA in the 90s was so important. Edit: And some clonal trees are MUCH older than that? How have I missed this?
In my years of explaining to religious doorsteppers why their questions and statments are meaningless to me, fairies and unicorns have always served me well. No religious question on the doorstep survives when rephrased to indicate what I hear, _"When you are at death's door, you will be begging the __-lord-__ fairies to forgive you"_ was one of my favourites, I don't think I ever saw that denomination stop at my door again. From this day forth the fairies will be riding unicorns...
@@dogwalker666 In my part of the rural UK we get Mormons, Jehova's Witnesses and assorted evangelicals who obviously have day trips from the nearest towns to come and spread the word to us inbred heathens - the local CofE used to come around rendering pastoral care to the village, but they don't bother calling on me now (I wasn't mean to them, I just told them I didn't believe in their mythical being). The JWs were the ones who got a bit sniffy and have never returned (bonus), you can't get rid of the Mormons so easily and the evangelicals are positively Stepford like (and I have lost count of how many times I have been prayed for, assuming they were serious).
@@dogwalker666 We have always had the political canvassers regardless of where we lived, but the religious ones rarely called when we lived in a small town, apart from JWs, whose _'Kingdom Hall'_ was just around the corner from where we lived. 4:52 that last example blows young earth creationism right out of the water. how can the earth be 6000 years old when they built structures like that 7000 years ago? just goes to show what religion does to people's minds.

Hovind has been corrected thousands of times. They simply don't care and keep lying. Their payrolls depend on them not understanding it. If Hovind accepted reality, he would have to find a normal job and would lose guru status. Not to mention that his brain has to be like cottage cheese after 50+ years of indoctrination.
Thank you for educational video. For the entertaining part it would be better not you saying what they say, just cut the short clips from their videos saying it, with big letters pointing at them saying WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG!!! But maybe you are too busy to do it and don't have time for it, which I fully understand.😊

Fantastic content as usual.
I wasn't aware of the marine isotope record, informative as always. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for the great video Tony. I listened to it all while sleeping soundly like a baby.
Thanks Tony!!! And thanks for your commentary about the trees while playing Outriders! Somehow, it's all related....

Your attention to detail here warms my heart. ❤ It's an important subject, and I am really liking this fairly deep dive you're doing into it.
thank you again - I really appreciate the feedback
Another fabulous video Tony. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge on this topic. I learn so much from it.! Looking forward to the next one.
Brilliant. Thanks. Finally I took the time to watch your series. And boy is it worth the time!
But.... muh holeee book! 🤣
I thank you for explaining this in a way I can just about understand.

Do they actually exist? I thought they were just a Hollywood myth.
