I'm 53. I was 27 when I first saw this and literally almost died ! I was eating a domino's chicken wing and drinking a mountain dew. I laughed so hard that a piece of the wing got clogged in my wind pipe and I spilled my mountain dew. I couldn't breathe for at least 10 seconds or more ! I had to choke myself to get the food out. My first and so far only real life or death experience to this day

As a whole, it's basically a piece where they decide whether they like it or not at the start, but then some asshole astral projects into beavis and goes on a deep analysis of Korn, and like, in the end the only real ones who can choose whether it sucks or not, are the ones sitting at home listening to it. So they slapped the shit out of it, and Beavis thanks him for helping him realize what he was doing. *It's both saying this can suck, or not suck, but these reviewers, actually suck.*
What's crazy about this is, this was probably my very first time hearing/seeing Korn. They would end up becoming my favorite band of all time but at the time I saw this video it didn't really register in my mind. It wasn't until a little while later, a friend of mine (we were probably 14 at the time) had the cassette tape of self-titled and was playing it at another friend's house. I think because I looked up to him so much that it made me take note of how cool Korn must be. Blind was okay, but then I heard cuts like Ball Tongue and Clown. I was like, "Holy shit, these guys are actually pretty bad ass". The more I ended up listening to them, the more obsessed I became. Compound that with their other music videos, their cool clothing style, etc. At 38 they're still my favorite band and I've bought almost every album up until recently (no one really buys music anymore). But it's interesting to think this was my first contact with Korn.
Falling away from Me is what really got me. Right at the end of the South Park Halloween Mystery episode with Korn and Niblet lmao... fucking awesome episode. xD I remember falling for Alice in Chains too thanks to the Street Fighter movie, that scene with Ken driving in the mountains the Them Bones. Random anecdote, just remember this kind of thing happening to me. Was nice being young, wasn't it? Cheers.
Korn was my first favorite band too. They were EVERYTHING when I was a teenager. Lol then I went through a phase where I thought I was too cool for them. When I graduated high school I saw them live when they came in and re fell in love with them again. I'd say they're still in my top 5 but I don't relate to the lyrics as much anymore since I'm not as angry. They're a talented band. I give Korn credit for being the only band I can think of with more than 7 albums that still have consistent quality on them. Sure some are more hit/miss than others but I think there's something good on every record. Requiem was amazing. Let the Darkness Do the Rest fucking slays.

This is obviously just played for laughs, but there are several other instances throughout the series where both Beavis and/or Butthead exhibit knowledge or intelligence far beyond their expected capabilities. I like to think that deep down they aren't nearly as stupid as they seem. Maybe they're just incredibly apathetic...or maybe they just fried their brains huffing gas fumes or something.
