I’ve live in Cardiff and I’d really like to cross that one day but obviously don’t want to take any risks. Where can I find information about when it’s safe to cross?
Second biggest rising tide in the world. A very dangerous place if you do not know what you’re doing. The traffic light system is very clear to when you can cross or not. Even with this information available I have still been asked by people halfway across the causeway how long they have until they should return.
People still wander casually across, and wonder why they get cut off. Putting themselves and their rescuers at risk. Its an island, and subject to fast flowing tides. Will people ever learn..

If you google the tide time and set off at low tide to be safe . & check at the jetty where there is a digital clock ⏰

I jetski thought there all year round and the amount of people that get cut off is mad 😡
How long approximately takes the low tide? Is it possible to visit the island and walk back while it's low or there's not enough time for that?
