I take so long before hitting Serenade because, as anyone who fought that bitch can tell you, he's invulnerable until using a certain move.
For Alpha, I use WoodCust and abuse a navi customizer bug to have 11 chips at my selection window, to give me Hole the turn before I use Bass, to give it time to open. That means no SetIce and much less incentive to use Sensor, so I don't. Using Bass was extremely frivolous, impractical, unnecessary, etc, but GOD FUCKING DAMNIT I WANTED TO FINISH HIM OFF THAT WAY
Other than that, I think it's pretty obvious when I'm doing things just because they look funny, if only mildly; especially against BowlMan.
Speaking of BowlMan, I have no idea why there's that little hiccup in the vid during his battle. It wasn't there when I compiled everything and saved.

This could work more efficiently if you are using Guts Style and Speed+ Programs installed.

Yesh indeed, but the only problem with that is I'd need all four stealing chips in the first draw, which isn't helped by the fact that my folder only has three. =P
That said, I thought the little projectile dance looked funny, so I figured it was a good way to speed up the process (otherwise he won't be vulnerable for somewhere in the zone of 20 seconds.

Moneditasf Well im not this guy, but ive been playing mmbn3 lately. Guts style is kinda weak, although if you want to make it work, use buster max with bugstop to push your buster to ten. you need bugstop for it, or you'll have a shitty bug. Chip combos are where its at honestly, so most people use custom style.
johnnycage2323 recently i got the Electric Custom Style its kinda ease to get it because i need the third Volcano Chip
oh you need the volcano chip? yea, you need to S rank any of the volcano viruses with Custom style. for the chance of it. Or use the chip traders.

if it helps at all, there are 4 volcano chips, volcanoes 1, 2, 3, and one that isnt numbered. the one that isnt numbered requires custom style, and can be found against any volcano virus. no problem with the help man.

I'mma get shit for this but this is TAS, because not only do you not take a split second to look at your chips, it's like you know what chips are going to land where, plus the varsword combos are literally impossible at that speed. You pressed the exact button frame after frame and I counted. Still an ok vid, just shows how evil the E code really is.

If you like creative, watch the FlameMan fight during the previous vid. I don't think most people kill that guy with a setup like that.
Personally I fight him using momquake and Z-Straight at the same time after "area locking" him, though it won't do the normal 3200-3300 the actual area lock has, it still looks hilarious watching Flame Man writhe in agony

You're technically supposed to trade for them. Since I used an emulator, I just activated an AR code and helped myself. It's not impossible, just more trouble than it's worth.

some attacks dont trigger invis frames on bosses, or in the case of killer eye or sensor chips they pierce invis and hit the target regardless of their state

i actually found a way of hitting serenade using heat ground style you break the middle row and then she wont be able to deflect anything as long as the middle is broken
Any chips that prevent Serenade from moving straight up or straight down should stop it from deflecting your attacks until their effects go away

+Senpai All chips are legitimately obtainable within the game in the E code, though some require trading for the code itself as well as multiples, such as the virus chip. I did not do that, however. I simply used cheats. The folder can be made the real way with enough patience.

also,can the chis be obtained from deleting viruses?i have been trying to get e code chips for some like metagel,randommeter and no beam with zero luck
+Senpai Battle Network 3 has a unique mechanic of being able to find non-hostile viruses. Basically, people in Sci-Lab will say that you should look around for these viruses and finding them will let you have them sit in a PC. That is enough to get the Virus Chip itself, but feeding them Bug Frags will make them stronger and they have a leader that you can encounter if specific requirements are met that I forget what they are.
Other than that, some chip codes might require specific buster ranks in order to get. It's mostly luck based and might even require both versions of the game just get such an awesome folder.

iLLt4ke2 lol im a little late to this comment. but feeding the same chip to a chip trader will put more of the chip back into higsby's chip order. the code of the chip you feed doesnt matter. higsby always sells the same chip code
