    Thanks for review! Everyone who is complaining about the price of this "collaboration" needs to realize all the different variables involved with these "production custom" pieces. Considering the designer, premium materials, top notch milling, and the "one off" proto/tooling cost....this knife is A BARGAIN for what your getting. ..IMHO. Can't wait for mine to come.

    Gorgeous knife with a steep price tag. I want one badly but that price will likely keep me from affording it.

      Super simple...buy 2 (or 3) less PM2/P3 sprints and get 1 Drunken. ...heirloom quality piece!

      Why would you want it? Their customer service is awful. Benchmade has the same steel.

    I really love the design and feel in the hand of this knife. Luckily I was able to handle one at the Amsterdam Spyderco Meet last week. A wonderful knife with great ergonomics. Only downside is the price for me. It should be a great EDC knife if it was a bit more affordable.

    Sweet knife! Remarkable they can come out at 3.1 0z. for an 8” knife. It is expensive at $409, but considering a Chris Reeve CF front with titanium framelock back is $525, in S35VN, maybe their sales people aren’t too far off. I’m seeing more and more knives with that useful sheepsfoot style blade. Thanks for the great review!

  • @willd6515

    There is no steel insert in the titanium side, it's all milled out.
    I agree with others, the price is through the roof, also this knife deserves a milled clip imho.
    Anyway, have fun with it!

    That’s a great $250 knife.
    At $400, Eric must have some outstanding debt somewhere he needs to handle because that’s laughable! Shame, Sinkevich designs are almost awesome this might ultimately be judged by the insulting price tag. Thanks Kevin

    Also not a fan of the closed body. The Walmart tenacious is open body like the Osborne by Benchmade. Better EDC IN my opinion.

    No logic to the price. Only reason I can think of is the designer gets a very steep commission.

    • @jesser8369
      @jesser8369 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You were close, colabs do require a higher price due to the multiple mouths needing to be fed. However, take into consideration a s35vn titanium framelock sebenza is 450.... And the Drunken has the "better steel", milling and carbon fiber... I think it is justified, but still expensive.

    Really disapointed with Spyderco coming out with all these knives not tapped for left hand carry. They used to be the manufacture that I could count on taking care of us lefties.

    • @E.L.RipleyAtNostromo
      @E.L.RipleyAtNostromo 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      MrRonMexico You have a good general point, but not in this case; with the frame lock in the way and CF show side where would you drill the holes? For this particular design they’d have to come out with a left hand version like Reeve does with the Sebenza, to accommodate the frame lock thumb cutout on the opposite side.
