The thing i love the most about this game is the " you are in a war and you are not the main character" sensation, you can hear peoplo shooting in the background or fighting pandemonium back and/or eventually die trying
i REALLY appreciate that it's "Why Pressure is BETTER" and not "Why Doors is WORSE" the fact that you praise both games is really really nice because they're BOTH amazing
@@clownintraining5944Saying that Pressure is better than Doors is thr same as saying that Doors is worse than Pressure. Doors < Pressure = Pressure > Doors. I think it wouldve been correct to say: ... appreciate that it's "Why Pressure is BETTER" and not "Why Doors is bad"... (sorry for nerding)
it would actually be “lesser” the word worse is a negative descriptor, when it’s used, immediately the brain associates that word and what the word is describing with it being more negative and you would assume there must be something wrong with it for it to receive the description of worse. But doors is not worse, just because pressure is better. It’s is lesser. For example: an Olympic gymnast can do an absolutely perfect routine, down to a T and do everything right. But if another gymnast does that exact same thing, but does an amazing new trick to add to that routine and they win, they have beaten that gymnast and are now better. That does t make the gymnast worse. Just now lesser. Doors is the blueprint, and it’s achieved everything it possibly could have. But pressure some how went above and beyond.
@@XBurgerVideos so, words have a connotation attached, and saying something is "worse" implies less of an appreciation of that work. using "better" instead makes it feel more like you appreciate the original work, but feel that something surpassed it. whilst it *literally* means the same thing, it's different in context. you're not wrong, but there's a little more to the picture that you missed out on.
The one thing i love about this game is that you can buy revives for free in the lobby using the blue currency you acquire when a run ends and can use to buy items in the beginning of each run
One thing I really wish you talked about more, is the sound design and ambience. A lot of these rooms have metal pipes, and the game capitalizes on it by having scaping and clanging noises coming from them. The way lights will burst when you enter a room. It's all so perfectly done, down the the underwater noises in the scuba sections.
I sat in one room for more than an hour. And the ambience alone is crazy. I heard explosions to screams for help. I once heard someone walk right behind me and knock something over. I never saw anything. I love how music isn’t constant. Silence works wonders
What confuses me is when doors released, everyone was talking about how it was the best horror game ever and revived the genre on Roblox, but as soon as pressure comes out, everyone says it sucks and that its mid.
Hi! Voice Actor for the PA/Intercom Speaker here (it was my first role, bless zeal) I love watching videos on the game and seeing all the praise it's been getting. Loved seeing you enjoy the ambiance and lore of the game, as well as the star of the show, Gianni. It's an absolute blast to watch the videos on the game, and your video was no different.
Oh totally! You really sound like you're having a lot of fun with those voice lines, and I think that's super awesome. Roblox games with Voice Acting in general already gets bonus points from me, but you and Gianni really sell this game 👍👍👍
The reason the badge for meeting Sebastian has a part of the description that says “the only reason you’re playing this game” is because 1, it’s a self aware jab, and 2, he let all the monsters loose in the facility before any guards could get the crystal. I see a bunch of people asking how they knew people would find him hot in the replies btw, it’s because when the game was in testing there wasn’t any badges yet and while in testing phases people were already simping. 😭
16:44 random but _ALLEDGEDLY_ the morse code on sebastian's radio is actually saying "JUSTGOPLAYDOORS" or something along those lines. (going off what i've heard)
The fact that shark need to breathe by constantly moving and eyefestation is a mutant shark really put in how detailed this game is as eyefestation is actually slowly moving throughout its phase MOM IM FAMOUS
I know it's like comparing Pokemon and digimon both are amazing but the community fight on who is better but those nice fans who make friends with digimon or pokemon fans and agree both are amazing both has flaws but when we and others look past that many fans can just watch it and play the games and anime they can both agree it's good but not perfect it's like comparing digimon tamers and pokemon X and Y both have lots of peaks and flaws X and Y takes quite long to get good and tamers could get a bit annoying when the MC's joke and monologue In battle but the peaks are amazing both have a amazing ending do you get what I'm saying or am I just glazing both?
@@HmmmnnhhPressure IS unique though. Not in the gameplay but the execution. The sheer number of voice lines is unlike anything I've seen in any other Roblox game and the lore is more well thought out and more present in it than in any other roblox game too. It's slick in a way I haven't seen in other Roblox games. In a way, it's unique for the fact that it feels like a very REGULAR game. It doesn't really feel like Roblox except for the ugly Roblox playermodel you're forced to play as. Everything is just in depth at a level I'm not used to from roblox, and that in itself is unique. It's also bonkers that the NPCs actually feel like characters. The NPCs in all other Roblox games I've played just felt like they were there to push the game forward and don't have an actual personality or history. Sebastian stands out as an actual character, not just a thing in the game that occasionally says stuff. I've never referred to a Roblox NPC by NAME until Sebastian nor have I seen fan art of any until him. Even the intercom guy feels like an actual character. He sometimes says dumb stuff like "do you want to meet my cat?" and then lets the cat purr into the mic. Stupid stuff like that which makes him feel real.
cant believe gabriel ultrakill was not just punished by the council of the father's light but also has been transformed into a fish and forced to work with humans (WTH HAPPENED IN THE COMMENTS )
A large difference between Pressure and Doors that both games execute really well respectively is context / information. In Doors you're in a mysterious old building with Lovecraftian, almost paranormal creatures that defy nature you know very little about. Pressure gives you so many pages to read about the SCP like creatures that were tortured and experimented on finally tasting freedom. Right from the start Pressure drills the in the fact that you are expendable showing just how dangerous and hopeless the situation is, not to mention that Pressure takes place 7-ish hours into the lockdown that Sebastian caused, being near Sebastian after reading his document can be unnerving knowing what he's capable of and the fact that he caused all this. Pressure does also end with a conclusion to the story, while Doors currently ends on a Cliffhanger ending that could go anywhere. Knowing the power that some creature has can be just as terrifying as not knowing anything
@@hypothermia3237 I am saying that Roblox games should have more passion on their projects if their having a clear inspiration from another popular game

I think what makes it so special is that unlike Doors, you actually have to kind of pay attention to the game instead of just moving onto more rooms, because theres a LOT of enemies that could get you. You have to be prepared for all the variants of Angler, you have to pay attention to noises like the Wall Dwellers footsteps, theres a lot that you always have to keep an eye on. Not only that, theres so much different rooms in this game that every run kind of feels different, either you find a rare room, a rare entity, or maybe even a rare item like the gummylight/necrobloxicon. This game is a masterpiece of making the player interested into the game and I love it. EDIT: I still like doors, its amazing and also one of the only reasons pressure is here. And yes, over time pressure will get shadowed away by other games, but it is still one of the best horror games of roblox not being just a simple cheap copy. Hopefully the devs will add more exciting gameplay so it wont go obsolete in the same amount of time.
Being honest, doors when it first released was like that too, the game just got pretty old and its a hugely known classic anyways so a lot of people already know all enemies, same will probably happen to pressure one day aswell when people get used to its difficulty
@@handsomesponge9952 I have beaten Doors 9 times in less than 2 months with 17 total tries. Pressure takes me 10 tries to get 1 win and this is for a week. Yeah no, Pressure is harder than Doors (atleast for me). It will never get old for me though, so I'm actually happy
@@caringheart34 i know that pressure is harder, its a game thats planned to only have one floor instead of multiple floors. Even though i hope pressure gets immortalized, most of its updates will probably be more entities and maybe revamps so it still may get a lot of players if they make fast updates but generally it has a chance to be forgotten in all the cool games ruins after it. So what im saying is since pressure only has one floor, even though its hard some people will still get used to it after a while even if its a few months or even years. I still see your point as im nowhere near that few months or years mark so im still bad at the game (chainsmoker and failed timings mainly)
Pressure might add more “sites”/“underwater bases” where different prisoners have to do different objectives. That’s just an idea on how Pressure can continue making new updates instead of revamping the base game.
Doors being simple is what makes it so good, it’s overall easy to learn, the entities are unique, and the sfx and the models are amazing. In floor 2 that models, the visuals were just amazing, everything was just good. The door 150 hoss fight is one of the most challenging parts, and once you’re there the amount of pressure you feel is crazy, and once you beat it the adrenaline 📈📈📈. anyway, as a doors superfan honestly think it’s overall the same, pressure has more entities, and good ideas like going under water to swim, pressure has a lot of good stuff and amazing graphics, the idea of being in a submarine with entities was executed perfectly. entities are also larger, which personally adds to the horror. Doors may be less scary but that doesn’t mean it’s worse than pressure, both games are amazing in their own ways, one more thing as well, amazing video! but, i like doors better personally, i respect all opinions anyway that’s enough yapping, bye
Great video, but i want to mention some things you missed - out of all the inhuman entities, the Searchlights (big flying bugs) are actually the only NATURAL creature. Everything else was made by scientists. - the reason 3 Searchlights appear in the finale is because the giant robot (Lucy) is lighting up the area for you. The Searchlights see this and think that Lucy is a giant Searchlight that has found food, so they all swim over to look as well - the character you play as isn’t a prisoner, but rather a person controlling the prisoner. It is unknown how or why it works, but it does. This is how Sebastian gives you more data every time you die. It also reveals that the messages at the bottom of the screen are the prisoner speaking to you. These messages include simple things such as “WE inserted a battery” and rare messages that appear when you walk away from the light in large rooms, causing the prisoner to panic and yell at you to GO BACK - the fake doors are actually two separate entities. The monster behind the door is called “The Good People” and the entity that puts up fake numbers is The Artist. The Artist is an AI that Sebastian ordered to make fake numbers to slow you down. He’s also the entity that puts messages on fake doors after you open one
anglers are also natural too, btw. same with pande. also, he missed a lot of stuff and i blame it on the fact that he somehow got out on the first try.
All of these entities are natural. for example, Angler and Pandemomium were discovered in the Let-Vand zone, squiddles were discovered on a merchant ship, Z-779 was a sentient AI program (with origin unknown), Searchights are natural animals, and they aren't monsters, therefore they were given a scientific name instead of a codename. Wall dwellers were found in a building where online influencers went missing, and the diVine were discovered in the Amazon rainforest. Mr. Lopee's origins are unknown.
@@someonethatisok no he meant pressure is "scarier" than doors (i think) edit: btw i think i started a war or @denisdanish did another one: btw why is the comment famous?
Pressure lore is actually insane. The guy you buy items from wants data because he was originally a prisoner that was framed but by the time he was found not gulity they had mutated him into that fish thing and they never told him
But it doesn't make you curious. That's what I hate. I'd rather find out about the lore for each level. Not instantly straight to the point. I wanna be curious.
I mean as long as you aren't putting down another game purely because you prefer another one instead of respectfully giving any actual reason as to why you prefer a game over another then it doesn't matter
I think the line was added at launch, but was removed to not trigger people. Rogurt's first video had him adding the clip of one of his friends getting that line.
Then suggest the devs to add it back but extremely formal. Like the memes where mundan is said like a british gentleman. Example: I haVe To poOp Excuse me, i must defecate right now
Not to mention, they actually modeled the entire body of a trenchbleeder, which was completely unnecessary, since you never get to actually see it closely, but they did it anyways and I love it
I think what makes pressure scary is that it relies on humanity’s primal fears. Such as nyctophobia, Megalophobia, xenophobia, as well as the most prominent being Thallasophobia which makes sense because of Thallasophobia being the most common fear for good reasons.
@@raincandy_LIXenophobia is the fear of anything that is perceived as strange and foreign Not in racism but anything strange Racism is Xenophobia but Xenophobia isn't racism
@@raincandy_LI Xeno means “foreign” Phobia “fear” or in the case you’re thinking of: a strong aversion While it typically relates to foreigners from other countries on Earth, it can refer to more broad things as the commenter above said. I tried out pressure and found it to be way more unsettling than doors, which I liked at first but slowly became a bit weirded out be the environment. I don’t really enjoy it’s concept of underwater facilities either. I was in a room where I had to go underwater to progress and was wondering (more like panicking) about how I was able to breathe under the water. I was stuck at a door cuz I couldn’t find the key card and kinda just gave up. Though, I can appreciate the work put into it. The graphics are stunning, ambiance has me paranoid and the music is amazingly good. I just think doors is my kind of game. :)
A friend of mine, Ace, is actually good friends with the Devs and helped us gain early access. Fingers are crossed that this game does succeed, it has so much going for it
Hello im itching to tell a new monster idea in anyways can these reach out I have an idea like green light red light. You have to stop moving while the monster walks around the room and can only move again when he leaves. Its like a jumpscare when you're halfway then the door slams open.
I mean he can breath underwater but how can we do that. Not counting his tail, his body is twice the size of us and his tail is like at least 3 times the size of his body

The Squiddle is an enemy that is, deceptively easy to deal with. My first run made it to around room fiffty where I died to Squiddle chip damage. The main tip to avoid the squiddles is that the moment you can see them, to turn off you light if its a flashlight, or pocket your lantern. Also, the Blacklight, flash beacon, and Nercobloxicon do not anger squiddles. Also, using a Flash beacon on an Eyefestation will enrage it. Now the Lore. Firstly, Sebastian shares a lot in common with our player character. I'll let you parse his document for the reasons. Secondly, the Earthmover-lookin thing is known as a Trenchbleeder, which is basically a walking oil rig, ment to keep the faculity funded. Fun fact, the PDG (Prisioner Diving Gear) you're wearing has a shotgun shell attached to the back, which is why they're so picky about people removing it. If your suit starts beeping, either work quickly to make it stop or accept fate. Squiddles does become a problem after you grab the crystal because it begins to play a radio frequency activates the disposal feature of the suits. Fun fact! The reason why you can swim around the Hadal Blacksite despite it being on the bottom of the ocean is because the pressure is funky down there, because anomalies. This is also why your suit has the "disposal" feature, as they when they where using prisoner labor to build the blacksite, they kept swimming up and subsequently imploding due to the spontaneous pressure shift. Also, those files exist outside the command room, they often hold even more juicy lore about the facility. (Don't walk on the grass, the vine people don't like it.) Do not ask about Mr Loopee. I have No idea what his deal is. The Wall Dwellers are in the Walls. They are also suprisingly tasty.
@soupman941 You can look at squiddles, just mind their personal space. It's just light that they don't like. You can usually turn off any light before they aggro.
flashbeacon and necrobloxicon can and will tick of squiddles, only the black light and splorglight dont triggering eyefestation once for the sick music and twice if you’re a masochist sebastian doesn’t really have much in common with us other than being tormented by urbanshade, on top of that, almost everything is his fault the frequency and strange music come from the speakers which is directly being broadcasted by sebastian and i assume mr lopee as he is obviously an interloper is meant to keep us on the right track and to not break outta the “reality” we play in
One thing i liked about Pressure was the amount of references in the game. the huge gate section was so cool and had so many references and some of them even had the folders that Sebastion would take. there was the crucifix from doors the guys from identity fraud and many more. there was also a reference to Rooms being like an 8 room span where it was just the Rooms layout which i thought was cool because it is referencing the first Roblox Door opening simulator. also the flash gun being able to get the eye shark and Sebastion angry is pretty funny.
The ultrakill references were the best for me tbh, the breakcore in most tracks, the trenchbleeders being sea earthmovers and the flesh prison in one of the rooms and much more are awesome references
The thing I love about pressure is that it’s actually scary Doors isn’t really scary, maybe once or twice you’d jump but pressure is always there, and I have a fear the sea, mostly underneath it, which makes this game so much scarier to me. And then there’s the references secrets and voicelines. I hope this game dosent turn have a kid infestation like doors did
Doors was scary once or twice, Same goes to pressure, you know whats gonna happen after the first or second time and you get used to it, But something thats not constantly the same repetitive thing is like for example the intruder lets say
In pressure, in the shop if you translate the morse code that you hear from the radio it says "GOPLAYDOORSLOSER". the creators of pressure really liked doors and even told people to check it out.
10:14 1,500 lbs is an understatement considering his height in Roblox is 54.5 studs, or 3.5 meters (10'6), and in real life, Sebastian would be 19 meters, (62'4 tall in freedom units) (this was confirmed by the developers i’m not kidding)
that's actually his complete height with his tail, but it's always curled up and he never stands full height lol. so he's really about 3 meters tall in his usual positiob
2:18 in the blast door area you can find testing rooms, all empty except one with the doors crucifix. Interacting with it will make you say things like “it’s useless”, “it’s just wood”, why would I take it?”, “are you stupid?” 14:37 you can find the “classified files” in other rooms as well, it’s just a very low chance
oh there are PLENTY other things in the testing rooms! candy cadet and exotic butters from fnaf, 'not a human skull', a comically large cheeseburger, a light source called the Necrobloxicon, and some censored black squares saying 'i dont even know what this is'--that's not all, just the ones I can name from experience.
About the badge about the only reason we’re play pressure; yes, that is a self aware comment but also because he is the reason the black site is under lockdown, the reason the expendable protocol is active. He faked being unconscious and attack a high up person with an executive keycard. He then…. Let every monster out of containment. And is a kill on sight entity.
I played the game during the pre-release tests! I'm even one of the 7k people who managed to beat the game during this period. There was a decent amount of cut content that I did get to experience, one of my favorites being the elevators! I had a short time with them, but they were amazing and I still miss them to this day. The music that played during elevator rides were full on references to whatever the hell the devs could think of, it was awesome! (Elevators were a room type, you could find them sprouted about in the facility and enter them to proceed to the next room!) unfortunately they were cut due to being extremely buggy. :(
@@Panzermeiller ach, unfortunate that they didn't keep the original ones. Still awesome that they're still somewhat in the game! it used to play Sister Location's elevator theme, and the doors one! some other ones along that but I don't remember them.
i just like how the ending is a subtle reference to ultrakill leviathan level that still scares me to this day. The boss isnt hard at all, just the atmosphere and the reveal still haunts me
I'm still curious about the redacted animal that was included in Sebastian's experimentation. No one has figured it out (as far as I've seen) so hopefully it's revealed in a future update
What really sets this game above Doors for me, that wasn't mentioned, is the gameplay loop. Doors is very structured, despite its randomised rooms, because there are only so many rooms before you've seen them all. Doors follows a pattern, whilst pressure doesn't, and that is much more fun and interesting. Each run in Pressure is going to be different, with vastly different rooms and settings, that you won't always get to see. It has so much more in it, and I'm always excited to see some new room or set of themed rooms that really add to the atmosphere of the game
Doors has a variety of entities designed to kill you in different ways, Pressure monsters (around 80%) is mostly based off of Rush, Doors makes up in terms of entities
For example, theres that one massive room you can find midway through your playthrough in which you swim outside and avoid lucy stomping on you. I only got that room once in my first run, and have since never got it again. Theres doors references, rooms references, ultrakill references, rare entities, unfound secrets, rare rooms, a very large variety of entities in general, and god damn voice acting. Pressure is really an amazing game
At 11:01, I just want to point out the fact that the description for that badge isn’t because of the person voicing Sebastian. It says “The only reason you’re playing this game” because of the lore behind Sebastian/The Saboteur/Z-13. He cause the events of the game to come to fruition leading to a prisoner like the player to be on the main mission of the game.
4:05 The number of generators you need to fix can change with crew number, this also means that in the bossfight there are more then 5 generators (8 with 2 people)
@@zSTALKn there are a few small ultrakill references, like the +ENRAGED and D-Rank achievements, but i do agree i hope we get a real reference other than just some achievement names
No one asked but heres an explanation on every entity that can hurt you i know and remember: Angler: Makes lights flicker then rushes through. You can survive by hiding, being far enough away, or breaking LOS (Line of Sight) Froger: Same as angler, but he takes a bit longer to reach your room, but he reaches the next room, then comes back through where he entered. After a short wait, he will come back, but he is gone for good this time. As far as I know, he can only rebound once. Pinkie : Doesnt make lights flicker but screams really loudly the entire time as her warning. Same as Angler otherwise. Chainsmoker : Makes lights flicker before slowly running through. He releases a smoke making you unable to hide in a locker if you inhale it. Same as Angler otherwise. Blitz : Same as Angler, but much faster and his scream is audible much later. The Multi-Monster : Same as Angler, but makes a static noise, i think its faster, and will only spawn if a red message pops up above your hotbar. Pandemonium : Runs through room like angler, but if it sees you hide in a locker, makes you play a minigame where you keep your cursor in the middle, but it will thrust it away at random times. It will leave eventually. Eyefestation : Will swim into view and drag your camera to face it, dealing damage for every tick you look at it. You can survive by pulling your mouse away. Shining a Flash Beacon in its face Enrages it, makes its light red, and it does more damage. IF you do it again, its light turns blue and ddoes even more damage. "Void" : Will hide in locker, being visible with its eyes peeking through the slots. If you try to hide, it will grab you and take you, instakill in solo, you can be saved in multiplayer. Wall Dweller : Will hide in the wall and come out after you leave its room, it will follow you and kill you if it catches you, you can deter it by looking at it, or one following your teammate. Parasites : Will swarm you if you stray of the green beacons path in a water section. You shake your camera yo shake them off, "Searchlights" : Will appear near door 60 and in the final stage of the game. If you stay in its search light for too long, it will instakill you. You can survive by hiding under something or staying out of its spotlight. Mr. Lopee : Will teleport you to your team if you are too far behind, while dealing some damage to you. Squiddles : Will hide in the dark. It is passive, but will attack you if you stand too close are shine a light on it for too long. "The Good People" : They will hide behind a door with the same number as the real one, the only way to tell them apart are sparks, monster sounds, and a few others i cant remember only come from the fake one. Death Angel : Can only be spawned by admins, but it does the same as Pandemonium, but for 18 minutes.
5:05 it doesn't need to see you get inside a locker, all it needs is just to see you even if you are inside a locker. making pretty much the only way to not get spotted by it is staying out of it's path and hiding in a side room outside of the said path or in a vent big enough
Nah i played the game, you can't hide out in the open whatesoever, you gotta be in the Locker to survive, if you're not in a locker... Well.. It's gonna come to you.
To the guys above me, Pandomonium (that's what he is called) works with raycasting. It casts small rays all around himself, and if you stand infront of one of those rays, he will know that you are there. Then he'll come straight for you. You can avoid him by standing in the corner of a sideroom, and if you can't see him, he can't see you. Btw: the vents only work if you can't see the exit and/or entrance
Some reasons that Pressure is actually really good at being horror is that some backround sounds include: Screams of terror and/or pain, the Angler (can make you think Pinkie is coming), aswell as the original roblox horror sound effect which I absolutely love. There is also voicelines. I absolutely love just hearing them talk lol, and maybe they can have text but the voice has tone, which is used in... *_ehem..._* the imaginary friend saying hi in a flirty way. And also the confusion in Sebastians voice when saying "Why are you doing that?" Which yes I have a preference for one specific line of him saying that. Also just "What the hell are you doing!?"
so that's where the ultrakill inspiration comes from. although it's weird to me that the music for that part is more reminiscent of altars of apostasy than war without reason. I wonder if that's just the composer or if it was supposed to be like altars of apostasy
Both games are amazing, it's not fair to try and call one better than the other due the fact that they're both incredibly unique and amazing in their own and unique ways. I personally loved speedrunning both a LOT.
The best thing about pressure is just the amount of stuff. In doors you'll probably see the same room 5 times in 40 rooms. In pressure it's rare you'll see it twice in 200 rooms. Even if it doesn't change gameplay, just having visual variety really makes the game more enjoyable.
@@Shotokan2028 no I haven't actually, I'm gonna play pressure completely blind so I can take in everything without knowing nothing (also I wanna know why people say Pressure is scarier than Doors because Doors genuinely makes me shit bricks sometimes)
Doors is a good game, and Pressure is also a good game. I wouldn't call them directly comparable as Pressure is a lot different from Doors. They're each good in their own way. We also have to keep in mind, Doors is a still an unfinished game with more to come, meanwhile Pressure is fundamentally a finished game. It won't get any other levels except for the Hadal Blacksite. The only plans that have been revealed by the main developer, is to just add more stuff, more rooms, more puzzles, more monsters, more obstacles, all of that to this one "level". Pressure will basically just be jam packed with whatever the developers feel like adding. Comparing Pressure and Doors would be like comparing a finished game and a demo. That last bit wasn't a diss on Doors, just to put the entire comparison into perspective. Something I see people also failing to also mention is that Pressure is HEAVILY inspired by other stuff. For example, SCP. In the world of SCP, the SCP Foundation contains and researches various entities and objects. Each entity and object has their own document, detailing their properties and potential history. In the world of SCP: Containment Beach, you play as a prisoner, you will do whatever you're told to, otherwise you will likely be killed, and you have to value, no one will miss you if you die, you are "Expendable", if you will. Then a containment breach happens and all the entities are free. All of this sure sounds like Pressure, huh? Pressure also literally has a room type based on SCP and named after the SCP Heavy Containment zone. I also wanna point out a few things. The Hadal Blacksite is not "abandoned", it's under lockdown during the game because of a containment breach (caused by Sebastian obviously). The amount of machines you have to repair will differ depending on how many players there are at the time. This applies to both the rooms before the Grand Encounter, the Grand Encounter itself, and the Ending Encounter. When buying Sebastian's Document, you can die and still have it, you are not required to beat the game on the same run. Obviously the lantern sucks, it's a light source all around you, so it doesn't even matter if you look away. Every other light source you can have are directional Lucy is a Trenchbleeder, basically a walking, money making, oil and mining rig. There is a chance for you to reach an airlock before reaching the ridge, here you are required to swim across while a Trenchbleeder walks through the area. It can be Lucy, but it can also be other ones (There are 4 if i remember correctly). The documents you can collect which Sebastian takes from you are lore related, you can read them from the lobby.
@AverageNoob2023 Pressure is going to die so quickly. It doesn't reach the same players as doors do. I don't mean to offend anyone or you, but when doors get an update, it's going to steal the creator's pressure players.
one thing i love is that certain enemies interact like the how anglers will kill wall dwellers and if you go back and grab the wall dwellers remains and eat it you get infinite regeneration the entire run you are on until you die

@@Undertalefan876 little comment: I was playing Doors, and then out of nowhere, some player got bullied by Pressure Fans; like saying "kill yourself, Pressure is much better than Doors, Doors is skill issue and people who plays it like you'd should die, Doors floor 2 is copy of Pressure ngl, Doors is for kids" Also, sorry for my bad grammar, English is not my first language 😓🙏
2 things that makes me like pressure way more than doors is the fact there is a point in actually plying it again after finishing, there are so many more things to look for and its not badge hunting either second thing is that it makes safespots way more fun to use all because of one detail, you need to be in sight for like 0.5 seconds or so for rushers like angler to actually kill you, and like 70% of the safespots allow you to watch the rusher pass by you instead of just crouching and looking down which is so cool to watch considering there are alot of variants of angler you can look at. (pandemonium is something else tho..)
Bro I was in a side room and I got D rank and I’m like what what huh I got the achievement without knowing what I did to get it after dying though and going back, I see it’s an achievement for pandemonium not seeing you outside of a locker. I didn’t even know it was pandemonium. I thought it was an angler or something.
Pressure is not a horror game to me but stress and anxiety game. You are always listening if something is approaching, wheather its quiet footsteps behind you getting rapidly closer or the breathing on the other side of the door. Pinkie is something that ended my best run which was door 104. My other best run was ended by my friend litterally stealing my locker in the final strech. It also has some really funny moments, like the time I heard footsteps and turned around to see 2 teammates dead and a dweller right infront of me.
The Uneasy Alliance achievement have the double meaning of you are playing the game because of sebastian, but its also the lore reason as sebastian is the one that release the monster, hence why you are being sent as expendable
a great thing to mention about this game is the amount of room generations and potential paths you can get. there are SO many that you cannot get them even within 20 runs. you can keep playing and you WILL eventually get something new that you have NEVER seen before. that room with the red fleshy stuff? I've never seen it yet even after about 30 runs. but I have encountered a room where I'm forced to go outside halfway in the game and cross a trench with lucy passing by. like there's just so much content in this game that it doesn't get boring. also that document at the end doesn't always spawn I don't think, unless its a one time thing, it gives you another document file to read after the rounds over and your in the lobby. and the fact that they don't give you all the information on a creature on one death but slowly revealing stuff the more you die is genius. you can make the game even harder throughout the entire run just by making the eyefestation mad from flash beaconing it there's so much to cover not mentioned in this video that I cant fit it all in one youtube reply due to the text limit.
In Doors I died multitude of times before reaching the end. In Pressure? First run - got a flashlight, then found a flashlight that you can spin and charge, managed to get 1000 coins, bought Sebby's secret docs, found a UV light, died on door 95. I felt a lot of similarities to Doors, in the room layout, the starting zone, how some entities work but honestly it's an upgrade. I like how they did the Valve's tutorial for the bosses. They let you safely practice on some generators and explain that fixing them lets you progress, and then just throw you into a boss battle, whose power is also explained by a quick cutscene. The game isn't any hard, but its atmosphere keeps you on your toes. The game also mentioned that it's not scary, and I agree. It doesn't throw jumpscares at you like Doors does. There are a few, but it gives more unease feeling than scary feeling. Also, eat Wall Dweller ashes, cuz yes. +1 to game rating
Here's the thing though; Doors isn't difficult because its mechanics are difficult, it's difficult because it only tells you what to do when you die. That's why it's so awful.
@@Czarro672isnt the same when you die and there’s Sebastian? And please, there’s still people who like Doors better. If Doors wouldn’t have been created, you wouldn’t have seen Pressure.

Doors have actually a lore/story aswell. As we technicaly know that there are enteties there while entering the hotel. We know that there are going to be mosters in em and as guiding light tells us the name of the mosters are what "you call" or we call. We gave em names and now are visiting a hotel from the time of ww2 as we have the room with the hospital beds and everything. They used hotels for keeping injured people instead of building thousands of new hospitals. And there was a story abt how figure was made by the nazi people to defeat the allies.
As I said in some other comment god knows where it is now, both games are deserving of appraisement. Doors has a very small team from what I know, and they still managed to make a good game. Pressure has a bigger team, on the other hand, and even hired fricking Gianni! So of course, they can afford to make a higher quality game, and they did, of course, a peak game. Both are deserving of appraisements for their own archievements.
fun fact: there were at least 4-5 more trench bleeders alongside Lucy that i don't feel like remembering the names of, but aside from that Lucy was named after the CEOs deceased daughter Lucy and so when the purpose of the trench bleeders were done (which was to extract all the resources from the area) they were shut down and scrapped EXCEPT Lucy which apparently was given orders directly from the CEO to put in free roam mode and anyone who disagreed was fired on the spot.
I have immersed myself into the pressure lore and gameplay so much that even getting one small detail wrong makes me want to correct you 1. 4:09 The amount of generators scales with the amount of players. This also applies to both Searchlight encounters. 2. 5:05 It will stick attack you if it didn't see you get in the locker. 3. 5:59 The facility is not abandoned, it is currently lockdown. The lockdown happened around a week before you arrive to retrieve the crystal. 4. 6:01 *The Hadal Blacksite 5. 10:44 Once you buy it once you never have to buy it again, even if you die. Located in the "Documents" tab in the lobby. 6. 13:00 If you unequip it the second you hear a Squiddle nothing will happen. 7. 13:47 Literally Earthmovers from Ultrakill. They're basically AI controlled mobile oil rigs, and there's four of them. It's been parked there to light up the ocean floor for you. 8. 13:54 You can get revives with the in-game currency, which you can get without Robux, although it takes much longer to get. 9. 14:04 The External Repellent battery powers the cannon, which is used to scare away the Searchlights so that the submarines can safely dock. 10. 14:29 That's DNA 11. 14:33 Urbanshade is the one that asked you to recover the data. It is primarily used to get the in-game currency so that you can buy stuff from Sebastian's Dead Drop Shop or so that you can buy revives. 12. 14:40 Like Sebastian's document, you can also access it in the lobby. Still a great video, you have yourself a new subscriber. Pressure's lore goes DEEP.
One of the top things that made me want to keep playing Pressure was how Sebastian interacts with us via talking to us the whole playthrough, like theres something about that one feature makes Pressure's atmosphere feels more lively and engaging.
I like fact that they even have a channel on their Discord for Room Concept ideas, which allows the community to be a part of the development of the game as well.
-Complete 5 generators by doing skill checks -Giant monster chases/watches you -An enemy grabs you out of a locker My inner DBD nerd is feeling funny things
Pressure is not in abandoned facility, but facility that has been recently overrun with scp like entities, but they found inmates to be more expendable for retrieving the crystal than the army
- A game is released - People love it. - "Loved game" period. - Another game inspired by the first one is released - People compare to the original - The original is now apparently bad
6:55 "- you unlock a little bit more lore about what killed you." Me: "Dude, he's getting to my pookie bear!" (I was actually hyperventilating from sheer excitement) "No, no, no. Not yet." Me: ". . . :("
I only just started playing Pressure recently, but I already hate hearing people call the game a "Doors clone" or a "Doors ripoff". People literally just saw that Pressure had the same core mechanic as Doors, and immediately assumed it was a shameless ripoff, and that annoys me so much considering the level of thought and care that you can see so clearly went into this game.
"Doors with its simple concept" "Its amazing how it took to long for someone to do something like it" Spookys House of Jumpscares/Jumpscare Mansion: am i a joke?
What makes pressure so scary is the random noises. This game makes you paranoid especially when wall dwellers chase you. The turrets and the game mech are so good and there's more to levels than just passing through, sometimes we get to go underwater sometimes and search for an exit and the underwater theme is much scarier ngl
10:59 pressure story spoiler warning!!! read it if you want to i'm sure someone else has said this but the badge description is a double meaning. yes, most people (including myself) played this game because gianni voice acted the character, but there's actually a lore reason why that badge says that. sebastian, known by urbanshade as "Z-13," was being transported to the blacksite one day, while supposedly under the effects of anesthesia. however, he wasn't, and sebastian had feigned the effects of it so that he'd gain an upper hand. he killed a high ranking officer and stole their keycard upon arrival at the blacksite, which allowed him the opportunity to break entity after entity out of containment. it caused the lockdown, the damage, and why you're sent into the blacksite and have to deal with all the monsters in the first place. because urbanshade's soldiers couldn't get to the ridge on their own, and urbanshade didn't want to waste any more resources. therefore, they got death row prisoners to sign up. TLDR; sebastian broke all of the monsters out of containment and caused the lockdown and the inability to get the crystal through soldiers alone, so prisoners (the player and their friends) are sent down instead. its honestly crazy to me, reading sebastians document was a bombshell and then some oh and also, REALLY good video on this, you got recommended to me through the home page randomly and definitely earned a sub from me.
You don’t need to spend 60 robux to revive, you can buy coins to do it for free. And it isn’t actually hard to get. That’s another thing I like about pressure. Once you die (or win) you get a currency called kroner (so close to funny Spamton reference) and 200 kroner buys one coin which you can spend to revive.

it would actually be “lesser” the word worse is a negative descriptor, when it’s used, immediately the brain associates that word and what the word is describing with it being more negative and you would assume there must be something wrong with it for it to receive the description of worse.

Doors may be less scary but that doesn’t mean it’s worse than pressure, both games are amazing in their own ways, one more thing as well, amazing video! but, i like doors better personally, i respect all opinions anyway that’s enough yapping, bye
a actually sane doors superfan that doesn't dickride, respects opinions and puts both games in equality?
This is the best way ive heard someone put it. I do like doors more but yes you are correct
Great video, but i want to mention some things you missed
- out of all the inhuman entities, the Searchlights (big flying bugs) are actually the only NATURAL creature. Everything else was made by scientists.
- the reason 3 Searchlights appear in the finale is because the giant robot (Lucy) is lighting up the area for you. The Searchlights see this and think that Lucy is a giant Searchlight that has found food, so they all swim over to look as well
- the character you play as isn’t a prisoner, but rather a person controlling the prisoner. It is unknown how or why it works, but it does. This is how Sebastian gives you more data every time you die. It also reveals that the messages at the bottom of the screen are the prisoner speaking to you. These messages include simple things such as “WE inserted a battery” and rare messages that appear when you walk away from the light in large rooms, causing the prisoner to panic and yell at you to GO BACK
- the fake doors are actually two separate entities.
Pretty sure BOTH 96 "Mask of Sadness" and 779 "painter" TOGETHER is "Good People"

Xeno means “foreign”
Phobia “fear” or in the case you’re thinking of: a strong aversion
While it typically relates to foreigners from other countries on Earth, it can refer to more broad things as the commenter above said. Some examples are xenogeneic, xenomorph, xenocryst
Unfortunately, there is no other frequently used word for phobia of the unknown

(Don't walk on the grass, the vine people don't like it.)
Do not ask about Mr Loopee. I have No idea what his deal is.
The Wall Dwellers are in the Walls. They are also suprisingly tasty.
I thought that you couldn't look at the squiddles because it worked for me
@soupman941
You can look at squiddles, just mind their personal space. It's just light that they don't like.
You can usually turn off any light before they aggro.
necrobloxicon does aggro squiddles though ? and squiddles dont play a frequency, do you mean the painter's broadcast?
Necrobloxicon does anger squiddles tho
flashbeacon and necrobloxicon can and will tick of squiddles, only the black light and splorglight dont
triggering eyefestation once for the sick music and twice if you’re a masochist
sebastian doesn’t really have much in common with us other than being tormented by urbanshade, on top of that, almost everything is his fault
the frequency and strange music come from the speakers which is directly being broadcasted by sebastian
and i assume mr lopee as he is obviously an interloper is meant to keep us on the right track and to not break outta the “reality” we play in

What really sets this game above Doors for me, that wasn't mentioned, is the gameplay loop. Doors is very structured, despite its randomised rooms, because there are only so many rooms before you've seen them all. Each run in Pressure is going to be different, with vastly different rooms and settings, that you won't always get to see. It has so much more in it, and I'm always excited to see some new room or set of themed rooms that really add to the atmosphere of the game

No one asked but heres an explanation on every entity that can hurt you i know and remember:
Angler: Makes lights flicker then rushes through. You can survive by hiding, being far enough away, or breaking LOS (Line of Sight)
Froger: Same as angler, but he takes a bit longer to reach your room, but he reaches the next room, then comes back through where he entered.
You shake your camera yo shake them off,
"Searchlights" : Will appear near door 60 and in the final stage of the game.
Death Angel : Can only be spawned by admins, but it does the same as Pandemonium, but for 18 minutes.

nah dawg, a friend and I tried that, I thinnk best option is to hide in a vent
Nah i played the game, you can't hide out in the open whatesoever, you gotta be in the Locker to survive, if you're not in a locker... Well.. It's gonna come to you.
To the guys above me, Pandomonium (that's what he is called) works with raycasting.
It casts small rays all around himself, and if you stand infront of one of those rays, he will know that you are there. Then he'll come straight for you.
You can avoid him by standing in the corner of a sideroom, and if you can't see him, he can't see you.
Btw: the vents only work if you can't see the exit and/or entrance
And Angler and his variants just follow a set path, and as long as you aren't infront of/near that path, you'll survive

Every other light source you can have are directional
Lucy is a Trenchbleeder, basically a walking, money making, oil and mining rig.

The attention to detail is the kind of dedication I want to see in every game I play tbh
a great thing to mention about this game is the amount of room generations and potential paths you can get. there are SO many that you cannot get them even within 20 runs. you can keep playing and you WILL eventually get something new that you have NEVER seen before. that room with the red fleshy stuff? I've never seen it yet even after about 30 runs. but I have encountered a room where I'm forced to go outside halfway in the game and cross a trench with lucy passing by. like there's just so much content in this game that it doesn't get boring.
also that document at the end doesn't always spawn I don't think, unless its a one time thing, it gives you another document file to read after the rounds over and your in the lobby.
and the fact that they don't give you all the information on a creature on one death but slowly revealing stuff the more you die is genius.
you can make the game even harder throughout the entire run just by making the eyefestation mad from flash beaconing it
there's so much to cover not mentioned in this video that I cant fit it all in one youtube reply due to the text limit.
i have almost 100 runs and i have not seen the fleshy room or the gambling room, if that helps to explain how many rooms there are lol
You set already omg👏😁

Yeah, I think the names are Lucy, Leon, Rosa, and River.

I have immersed myself into the pressure lore and gameplay so much that even getting one small detail wrong makes me want to correct you
1. 4:09 The amount of generators scales with the amount of players. This also applies to both Searchlight encounters.
2. 5:05 It will stick attack you if it didn't see you get in the locker.
3. 5:59 The facility is not abandoned, it is currently lockdown. The lockdown happened around a week before you arrive to retrieve the crystal.
4. 6:01 *The Hadal Blacksite
5. 10:44 Once you buy it once you never have to buy it again, even if you die.
10. 14:29 That's DNA
11. 14:33 Urbanshade is the one that asked you to recover the data.

What makes pressure so scary is the random noises. This game makes you paranoid especially when wall dwellers chase you. The turrets and the game mech are so good and there's more to levels than just passing through, sometimes we get to go underwater sometimes and search for an exit and the underwater theme is much scarier ngl
10:59
pressure story spoiler warning!!! read it if you want to
i'm sure someone else has said this but the badge description is a double meaning. yes, most people (including myself) played this game because gianni voice acted the character, but there's actually a lore reason why that badge says that.
sebastian, known by urbanshade as "Z-13," was being transported to the blacksite one day, while supposedly under the effects of anesthesia. however, he wasn't, and sebastian had feigned the effects of it so that he'd gain an upper hand. he killed a high ranking officer and stole their keycard upon arrival at the blacksite, which allowed him the opportunity to break entity after entity out of containment. it caused the lockdown, the damage, and why you're sent into the blacksite and have to deal with all the monsters in the first place. because urbanshade's soldiers couldn't get to the ridge on their own, and urbanshade didn't want to waste any more resources. therefore, they got death row prisoners to sign up.
TLDR; sebastian broke all of the monsters out of containment and caused the lockdown and the inability to get the crystal through soldiers alone, so prisoners (the player and their friends) are sent down instead.
its honestly crazy to me, reading sebastians document was a bombshell and then some
oh and also, REALLY good video on this, you got recommended to me through the home page randomly and definitely earned a sub from me.
