Saw it Saturday and it was phenomenal! What a cast and the singing blew the roof off! I’m ready to see it again this spring when the Yellow Brick Road leads to Broadway!
This play is an absolute must see! Every member of the cast song and performed exceptionally well. I was blown away. I enjoyed the humor and current verbiage that was added. The stage was so beautiful…that at times I was in tears from the beauty. This is my new fav play and will be seeing it again.
My daughter and I saw The Wiz and it was phenomenal words can't do it justice that's how much i loved the experience of seeing The Wiz. It was spectacular and every cast member on that stage brought their A game to their individual roles. I saw The original Broadway version of the show in 1975 when Stephanie Mills played Dorothy and cemented her performance in legendary status. Having said that I will choose not to compare who did better etc. I greatly enjoyed the 1975 version and i greatly enjoyed the 2023 version!! It's Worth seeing and I plan on going to NY to see it again when it hits Broadway. I am excited for everyone involved in making the show an enjoyable and huge success. I loved every moment of show👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽
