      @@BIasterXD this would not be an issue with no money printing and all the construction work red tape;
      the companies have cheap money to invest because of the government's money printing;
      also, they raise prices because there are people willing to pay the money; but this is also an incentive to invest in building new houses, if the government would allow it; which investment would push prices back down;

    There are nearly 2 millions chinese people in Canada. It's just 1 big family moving to where business and wealth will keep on growing for them and China.
    Any country think of their billionaires as economic weapon asset and are heavily under surveillance. Moving to Canada has been only authorized by the government behind close door.
    Any big families are shadowed by agents. It's probably a strategic move.
    They will become a big bridge for China. Helping import/export. Keeping money safe in case China sanctions. Influence on politics in canada. Informations.
    Fun fact Trudeau father was banned from entering USA because they considered him a communist agent lol. And his son ex PM Trudeau party was supported by China... 😅
    I can could imagine that he helped that humble little family to settle easily in Canada.

      My grandparents emigrated from Italy and Poland. In both cases, they were required to "renounce absolutely and entirely all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which at this time I am a subject or citizen." Of course, they were fleeing oppression by Mussolini and the Prussians, respectively, so renouncing any allegiance was a no-brainer. I have never understood the concept of dual citizenship. Clearly, you cannot have allegiance to two different countries. It can also be abused. I watch an old TV show called Border Security: Australia's Front Line. In one episode, there was an American woman who had previously been banned from the country, I think for overstaying a visa. So they caught her trying to sneak in again using her Greek passport. They only caught her because her Greek passport was issued just a week earlier.

If people are forced to live with how they vote, they’d vote more responsibly.
