@@secretsarttatoo Hi! This guitar will cost around 5000 euros, but unfortunately for the top I can't use Swedish pine - it's an unfamiliar wood for me. I use Western redcedar or spruce from the border of Italy and Austria, it's wood I know how to work with.

I have heard a lot of classical guitars. That is one of the best I have ever heard. It is beautiful, your woodworking and luthiery skills are wonderful, but, if the end result doesn't match all of that, if it doesn't SOUND good, then it was all for nothing. That guitar is definitely worth something. It has that certain timbre and sweetness that just makes you want to hear more. That's magical. Great job, Aleksey.

Awesome, fascinating and enchanting. One thing I had to chuckle at (I'm an 'old' carpenter with most of my tools over 4 decades old), all your tools are brand new and shiny. One day, your tools will also be half worn out, but they will all have lovely tales to 'tell'!

I've noticed classical guitars are made with the neck glued to the soundboard first, then the rest of the structure fitted around it. In contrast, I've seen steel string guitars made by shaping the entire body first and then the neck is placed on the body.
Yes, you are right, this is a traditional Spanish design. But in the classical guitar there is also the method you described, when the neck is dovetailed into a ready-made body
Unfortunately I cannot say which Torres model this particular design is based on. Most of Romanillos' guitars were variations on a Torres theme, with the exception of the 1973 model he made for Julian Bream. In my case, it's a 2012 design, but with an added undebridge plate that I saw on his 1981 guitar. I loved the sound and feel of that guitar so much that I couldn't resist trying to do the same))

This is relaxing to watch and it must also be relaxing to actually do. However, it looks easier than it is, probably. As a guy who tried to just make a solid body for an electric, I found that to be a lot harder than I thought. I can only imagine the whole classical guitar from scratch. Hats off!
beautiful film, good representation of craftsmanship. shows that the craftsmanship of building a guitar is still alive and kicking.

Saludos. Congratulations for using the Spanish artisanal manufacturing system. Some questions. The first one is the lid, it is solid cedar I suppose. The second, the sides and the back, is rosewood or ovangkol wood. I would like to know if it is laminated or solid. Third, the neck, what wood do you use, fourth question is if the fingerboard and bridge are made of rosewood and the last one, how many hours did it take to make the guitar and how much would its price be? Greetings.
Thank you 👍 The top is solid spruce, the sides and back are solid Indian rosewood, the neck is spanish cedar, the fingerboard is ebony, the bridge is Indian rosewood. I work very slowly because I have to combine raising my daughter, work, housework, etc., so it takes me about 150 hours, but I have never counted exactly. Usually this is 4-6 months. Price may vary, price for this guitar is here www.ohguitar.com/product/aleksey-dukhovich-2023-classical-guitar/
@@dukhovich The top is solid spruce, I thought it was solid cedar. I guess it will be German spruce. The body is solid Indian rosewood, very important for a good sound of course together with the spruce top. I put the Ovangkol option because I understand it is very similar to rosewood. Spanish cedar neck, very good choice of wood for the neck, I think, one of the best for the neck of classical guitars. The ebony fingerboard, typical of high end guitars. Very good woods and materials and good work as a luthier. Congratulations for the good work and for working the Spanish heel, the best and most reliable union of the body of the guitar to the neck. Your price is in accordance with the woods used and the work done. Thank you for your reply.

Saludos Cordiales ❤
What’s the piece Anton plays at the end (and beginning of the video)? Beautiful guitar, congratulations.
