RJ playing the horn section part and the main keyboard part too. How does he do that? I love these brothers. Perfection. Every one of them is superb at his part in the mix. Reno gets the drum part perfect on every song. All are good singers and excellent musicians. And self taught. These boys didn't go to a fancy music art school. They started with nothing and later were helped along when they went to Manila after the typhoon devastated their city. Rags to riches story and I'm so glad they are getting the recognition they deserve. Lots of hard work went into learning all the songs they do by different artists. Perfectly duplicating old hits is very difficult but they have mastered it. And they have fun playing together. Lots of smiles by Raymart and Ralph and RJ. New instruments too. Ralph has a very expensive Gretsch guitar and Reno has a slick new drum kit. It will help them cover many more old songs for our enjoyment. Thanks guys. We love you.

I used to play drums and know almost all the songs they do (I'm 73) and Reno is 99 percent accurate on every song. Imagine the time it took for the 4 of them to listen, practice and duplicate the dozens of songs they do to perfection. On quite a few songs, especially EWF covers, they sound better than the original. September is the best example. Go listen to the EWF version of this and then come back here and listen to the Reo version and tell me you don't agree. The work they have put into this is just mind blowing and they deserve every good fortune and the popularity that has come from this. Their fame has let them help their family have a good life now. Go read their history. The Otics were an extremely poor family in the Philippines before the typhoon destroyed their life. Going to Manila and hooking up with a good producer and mentor turned their lives around. It's an amazing and heart warming story.
Reno the drummer should have been a Gibb brother. If you go back and watch some of their very early work from about 2009-2010, you will hear him singing some stuff alone. He sounds exactly like Robin Gibb. Perfect high voice for the covers of BeeGee songs. All four of them are just PERFECT for what they are doing. Love 'em.

This is one of my favorite songs and I have played this video at least 50 times. Look up the original EWF version of September on TH-cam and see that the boy's version sounds 100% better. Really, there is that much difference. RJ nails the horn section parts on that little keyboard. In some ways, these "covers" of old songs are better than the originals. These poor Filipino boys deserve their success for sure. They've earned it with hours of practice and learning every song and English wasn't even their main language when they were little. Tagalog is the common language in the Philippines so English was their 2nd language. But they learned all the lyrics and sing in perfect English. You gotta admire their determination.

Reno does an excellent BeeGees too. He always gets every song's drum part EXACTLY right. The hours they all have spent listening to and practicing these dozens of songs has to be in the thousands. Ralph’s vocals here just added a youthful vibe to this classic without really changing the original. And the rest of the band put in the right amount of energy to preserve the feel of this iconic African-American groove. Much has been said about their limited technical equipment, but clearly their talent and commitment are more than enough to give this piece justice. APPLAUSE! I’ve become a convert.

I am impressed with the performance of each musician, congratulations. Incredible, wonderful talents, you play and sing everything with great perfection. I saw practically all the songs that you posted on youtube, really very good. TH-cam bringing together and revealing talents from around the world.
These guys are learning the songs by ear! No sheet music. And they nail every song they do. Now that's some serious musical talent. I think the oldest brother, RJ, is the one doing the heavy lifting, sorting out the arrangements. But they're all amazing!!

The bass player is awesome but it's obvious that the keyboard guy is the leader of the group. He's the arranger, keyboard, lead guitarist and Vocalist.

I read that there are 9 siblings in their family and all of them can sing and play musical instruments. And none of them had any form of formal training too. We definitely still have a lot to look forward to. LOL, fortunately for us their parents do not believe in family planning!!

These guys are learning the songs by ear! No sheet music. And they nail every song they do. Now that's some serious musical talent. I think the oldest brother, RJ, is the one doing the heavy lifting, sorting out the arrangements. But they're all amazing!!
