coming from someone who dropped a levels to do more career focused education (accountancy) with previously having all a* and As in gcse it really does not matter not one bit, you can do whatever course you want to do regardless just focus on maths and english and you are set. Of course study and work hard but do not stress as much about the options themselves just make sure whatever you pick is what you can do well in.
It doesnt matter when you go on to a levels colleges only care about your core maths and english grades, whatever u choose just choose it because u like it
In some schools you have other compulsory subjects like RE if it's a religious school
My school isnt religious but we still do religious studies
