Thank you VERY much! I have 24 PHEV and I couldn’t find anything or anyone else with a how to. Yours was great!
Is there any difference between the electric and non?
Yeah I have a '24 PHEV, good to know it works. Where did you attach the power in the rear at the battery?
As the visual leaner that I am this is great. Thank you. I just ordered the hitch and wiring kit from e trailer for my 2022 outlander. Sick spider hood decal btw
This video worked for my 2023 Outlander PHEV as well. Thanks for making it. Very helpful!
Great video thanks. I cannot get the tail light to pull straight back and out. I'm afraid that I will break something. Any thoughts? Ty
I will appreciate to you
Just a heads up, the strippers you used have the crimpers as well on the middle part of the tool. Might be a bit easier than vise grips, but vise grips do everything as well. Thanks for the video.
Your videos were helpful for me on my 21 outlander. Have you done any other upgrades to yours? specifically radio?
Great information. You should get a go pro with a head mount would make your vids a lot easier
Great idea.
Does the 2022 not have the wiring harness pigtail behind the drivers side rear plastic panel . Like previous year outlanders had Where you could just buy the adapter and plug into it not have to cut any wires or Tie into your tail lights ?
The rear kick feature worked fine until I installed the trailer wiring harness. I think its because of the green wire that runs under the bumper to the right side tail light and the 4 way flat trailer connector that also runs underneath the bumper to the hitch. I think the wires are interfering. I'm gonna have to check and see if moving the wires around underneath the bumper might fix this problem.
I wonder if maybe the wires are covering the sensor. Let me know what you find out.
Does anyone know if there is an opening on firewall to add amplifier power ?
Good info but never use those blue connectors. They tend to cause problems 4 to 10 years down the road. Strip 1/2 in of insulation wire wrap wires together smother and use biseal with super 88 electrical tape covering by seal.
Where did you buy the spider sticker
Hi after the wiring does the rear parking sensor knows that the trailer is in the back of the SUV so it stops beeping noise?
Good question. I haven't had a chance to tow anything yet.
Why didn’t you use the plug and play wiring harness. I saw a post where they didn’t have to splice the tail light wires.
What brand / part number is the wiring harness your talking about?
I used a plug and play. It didn't work properly. I could have had the one bad one though
Can you share the link where we can buy it
I bought mine from etrailer. www.etrailer.com/Custom-Fit-Vehicle-Wiring/CURT/C59236.html
I like your video But man you need to slow down moving the camera around ! It about made me motion sick ! had to look away a couple time!
