Here are three reasons why Diana (the Queen of Goosebumps) doesn't sound human. First, she is a contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below) When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune. And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. She's not one in a million, she's one in eight billion. You're hooked!!!

It's an over 300 year old folk song about a Cossack warrior who dreams of his death in an imminent battle. On Diana's face you see sadness, anxiety and pain of the soul of the Cossack warrior. One would swear she borrowed that soul to perform the song. I'm not sure how many people appreciate the emotional gasps she produces here that absolutely melt me.

On the first five performances, she disguised her voice so the performances didn’t attract much attention and I didn’t know the show existed. To paraphrase another comment I've seen about her "She took a happy go lucky love song and turned it into a dark, obsessed, descent into madness." The ultra rich, cavernous contralto, the range, the haunting polyphonic overtones... she's not one in a million, or even one in a billion, she is utterly, utterly unique.

With this "harpoon" Diana impresses almost everyone from the first seconds ... and attracts the listener, up to the last second of the performance ... She is another very interesting story that you will discover. Wait until you hear “Wicked Games”, “Take On Me”, "Human" or "Rechenka" Even though it is in Russian you still feel the emotion behind it. I've heard her sing in Russian, English, French, German, Arabic and Spanish so far. No matter what language it is beautiful.

She's polyphonic. She can produce more than one tone at once. That's the unusual sound you're hearing. Also, there is a small documentary on her. Her beginnings were unfortunate, being taken from her dysfunctional family and taken to shelter at 4 1/2 years old. She is truly blessed by her adoptive family and has maintained her beautiful indomitable spirit to embrace love in this world. Truly remarkable❤

Yes totally unique voice. like Cher , she is a Contralto singer, but with extra range , which is the unique , and due to her breath added strongly she seemingly has 2 voices, one high , one low at the same time. If you see her sing
'Rechenka' in clip of Russian talent show , at 14yo , you be even more blown away. she is a wonderful freak of nature.

You're not quite right. We are here, in Russia and can easily watch all the videos. TH-cam has blocked ads for Russians, so if viewers from Russia watch videos without VPN, then their views are not taken into account and the author of the video does not receive bonuses. Besides that, there are no problems with views.
You cannot watch reactions in Russia that are partially blocked on Russia. Yes, some watch through a VPN, but there are not many such people.
People constantly complain that they cannot see the reaction to this particular song. This problem is only with Can't Help Falling in Love, Diana's other performances in TV shows are blocked in all countries, so the way out is to edit the video and file an appeal.

Knowing her story, you can feel the pain through the way she sings. It gives you chills. She was abused as a child, and her mother abandoned her when she was 3 years old. She was left at a bus stop with a broken collar bone. She was then rescued and adopted
