Am I the only one who loved Budokai 2? I'm playing it right now.. I find it more fun and nostalgic than the other two and I'm so sad they didn't include it in HD =(

I know Budoaki 2 doesn't tell the story 100% accurate but to me it's one of the best DBZ story modes EVER!!! This game got me more into DBZ. This game is one of those sentimental childhood memories.
i'ts awesome that you're doing playtroughs of the old games, then people can also see (who don't got any of the old games), which they would want to have and how it works.

Something like that, some nice cutscenes and Create a Warrior would be anyone's dream. But what they don't understand is different developers try different things. They'll probably never be satisfied.
If only DBZ game developers still took this type of approach more intensely in their current games. I don't care if the games tell the story inaccurately or skip out on it at all, I've pretty much known it since I was a child. It would be nice to see the future DBZ games do something different with the story mode....like make it more focused around a created character.
On the map there are 3 red dots and depending where you fly to is which final boss you will battle. But there are usually special requirements to fight different bosses..
all the regular budokai games start with the sayian saga then end with the last saga of when the game was released budokai 1 ends with cell, 2 ends with buu , and 3 ends with buu,broly and omega shinron
@ERAx360 RB2 doesn't have story mode but you can reanact it because characters will talk to eachother ex: goku vs frieza, cell vs gohan, trunks, or vegeta, vegito vs super buu, etc.

Ok i got 60 bucks and i am gonna buy back a ps2 so should i get dbz bodokai 2 or 3 with need for speed underground 2 or just get dbz tenckaichi 3 and i watch all the dbz episodes and i played all these games before but cant decide
i have this game for gamecube it was my first dbz game i have dbz budokai 2 and dbz bt3 im getting budokai 1 for gamecube and maybe budokai 3 for my ps2
guys if u hate getting everything, heres a little glitch for ya! Hold L1 and L2 and enter the shop then hold L1 and L2 and exit the shop. You see that your percentage increases. That percentage indicates how much things you got. Keep doing it and you will see that you unlock characters. Make sure it saves so you percentage stays the same! Do this glitch if u dont want to do everything in the game. Its basically like a hack. It will work!!!
Budokai 2 wasnt as "Inaccurate" as people whine about. Nappa and Raditz WERE in contact through scouters, and Nappa WAS looking for the dragonballs with Vegeta until they fought piccolo. They just skipped the Vegeta Vs Goku fight which should have been the stage AFTER this one.

I didn't like how Goku was the only one that wasn't a game piece. The story mode would have been so much better if every character was a 3D model.

i like boudikai 3 but this game super fun i like how in the first boudika when you do the extra storie vegeta goes super sain early

I don't know about everyone else but I actually liked B2's story mode. It was a nice twist, rather than the same old telling of the story

it isnt. It told the story in the right order, just gave the player more ways to get here.
