Yum! Years ago my favorite Jamaican restaurant closed and I haven't had curry since. I'm going to have to try to make my own. Thank you for sharing how you do it.

I'm thinking this might be good in a slow cooker with some chick peas added, and coconut milk thrown in near the end. Next time I butcher a rabbit I'm going to try this recipe. Love these recipe videos. Thanks!

Good job! Curry too much for my hubby, but looks delicious! If you have room in freezer save onion and garlic skins in a bag and bones in another, get enough make bone broth or stock. Glad you're back!

Hey Kenny I used to breed rabbits for eating. Is that something you are considering when/after you get back into raising quail? They are practically silent, don't need a ton of room but can give lots of babies ready to eat within about 3-4 months or you can grow them a bit bigger if you'd prefer. Meat rabbits often have 10 survivor babies at a time and gestation is only a month. Plus their manure can be used on the garden straight away instead of letting it sit for 6-12 months. If you and Mai decided you wanted to grow some veggies or if you want some ornamental plants it's a big win for it. You can raise them in a colony setup too with many being very successfully ran like that and the mother's determine when they want to be bred, the males don't have that choice so the mothers will monitor how many litters she has. You would need to remove your grow outs into separate pens from the breeders and up to about 3-4 months makes and females can be housed together. They also make great lawn mowers or an easy way to get rid of your garden clippings and all of your veggie scraps. If you want them to bulk up quicker so you butcher at 3-4 months you would be best feeding them plenty of meat rabbit pellets. You would need to have a way to make sure your water doesn't freeze for them but you could do a 44 gallon plastic food grade drum with PVC pipe and water nipples if you have a way to keep it from freezing. I'm wondering if you couldn't pop in a fish tank heater and run say a 15 gallon drum inside the 44 gallon with enough water inside the 44 to cover the 15 gallon drum and just heat the outside of the smaller drum to combat that 🤷‍♂️
Literally food for thought for you if that's something you are interested in doing

I may.. depending on the amount of space I end up with

@@NYCoturnix if you end up with enough space, the bonus with rabbits is that a lot of people also love pet rabbits so you can always sell just enough to cover your costs for your own free meat if you can't legally sell meat from your property. I know down under on some of our Facebook pages there's people out there that sells fresh rabbit specified as dog meat but a lot of people in the know understand that that's just to get around the things that won't let you sell and to advertise for human consumption. I can't wait until you get back into raising quail again. I want to learn more about quail and I already got so much out of your earlier videos, but it's always good to learn from others with real life experience, but I was also enjoying following your channel and the videos of keeping them. I binge watched them at one stage until I ended up getting through them all but I enjoy your content including recipes. Never done a rabbit curry but it looks like something I have to try when I get back into the rabbits again

@@NYCoturnix I've got rabbits and they take so little space. You CAN pasture them but I've also raised kindles in a hutch. So easy. I made some spicy Korean rabbit a couple days ago.

A little rust on the cleaver since you haven't used it is not unusual in a humid environment. Simply scrub it off with a little green pad. They are not razor sharp when you buy them, either. So you may have to sharpen your knives before you use them.

Sorry Kenny, but it's painful watching the vegetables being cut down. We all know how to do that. Have them ready so the video is to the point and the rabbit gets cooked.
