I swear it’s always those moments when you think you did bad and get a great grade yet when you feel like you did good you get THE worst grade. I’m trying to force reverse psychology on myself at this point

Same. A few year's back. We had official exams set by the government to progress from grade 9 to 10. I aimed at 15+.I always thought I wouldn't achieve it. Instead I got 17+. Which is amazing Ranked 35 in Lebanon. So I was impressed.
It really happens. Sometimes when i prepare so hard for an exam i don't do that great. But when i don't try too hard i do better

That's fantastic! I had the same thing happen to me today - I had a massive research paper that I spent months on and had multiple breakdowns over and felt like I had done absolutely terrible, but I got my grade back today and got 100%. I can barely believe it. My prof even said it was an absolute pleasure to read. These are the little things worth celebrating!

You dont want a b instead of an A- because of gpa. A 4.0 is an A. 3.0 B. 2.0 C anything lower than that is failing. If her next move is a phd a 3.0 would not be in her best interest when that add up all the grade points for each course

Vee you are so relatable. You not this A+A+A+ and first pass degree Studytuber (not that your not capable or that I’m looking down on you). You are like me or the person on the street and you’re showing that anything is possible if you work hard and follow your dreams. I’m 35 and p*ss scared to apply to top Uni’s in my country coz I just don’t feel smart and capable enough but you showing time and time again that hard work, disciple and perseverance trumps just being smart (again, not that you are not). I hope this is not a condescending compliment, so I trust you get how I mean it. Thank your for sharing your journey and I wish you all the best with your endeavours. 👏🏽👏🏽
Vee, I congratulate you for receiving an A- in your essay. That is excellent. You have done very well and you should be proud of yourself. When I was doing my TMAs, EMA, and my dissertation for two years at the Open University for my MA in Classical Studies, I was getting Ds which were considered a pass at this level.

Subheadings are the way forward! I find they make writing assignments a wholeee lot easier

I think the subheading is more a postgrad thing than an institutional style. Ibzmo had the same feedback in his master at Oxford
I'm in Canada but I believe the system is very similar A+, A, A-, B+, B, B-,C+ etc. Congrats on the grade Vee!!

I was going through an essay crisis at the exact same time you posted the video for this essay crisis. I watched it and just whipped out the most rushed and superficial paper I’ve ever written. I was also expecting around a C The same day this video was posted, I opened my grade to find I got a B+! I’m an undergrad at Columbia University and your videos help me get through everything thrown at me so honestly, thank you so much. Congrats on your A-!

Ahaha I know that feeling- sometimes I feel like one exam was the absolute worst and I‘ll be so sure that I failed, and then it turns out that was my best grade in the semester 😅

I had a similar experience last semester, I was doing a monograph on quantitative research & I genuinely had no idea what the f I was doing & my whole class was based on that single thing & by the end of the semester when I submitted my monograph I got a perfect score? & i was so surprised, I literally cried. It was my last semester so I needed to pass the class in order to graduate so I was definitely relieved

I just took my LEAP test for my AP biology class, which is the end of the year exam we take in my school. And I scored an Advanced!!!!!!!, which is the highest rank you can get. I then found out that I scored the best grade in my whole biology class.

She doesn't post her essays because of plagiarism purposes. People have stolen her work in the past.

@@thisisti953 Her essays uses the work of other authors and their opinions on a certain subject. In order for her to be able to publish/post her essays, every individual mentioned in her post must have their consent on her text(accept that their work is being used by others). Since she also reads books still selling today author's wouldn't allow a free version of their book to be published.
This happened to me this semester lol. It was a research methods paper and I did it in a couple of days at the last minute and got an A-. I literally thought I failed LOL

How many months is this master seems like not enough 🤔
Depends on how many courses she takes at a time and how many credits she had before she started.
It's a 1 academic year master. September - May.
What do you mean. She works her ass off all the time, thus that's why a year is enough. Others at regular universities might take 2-3 years to accomplish what she's been doing throughout this year. Do you think that Harvard would accept people to graduate without a particular score(strict rules), or accept one of their graduate to fail in their forward life. No Harvard would be held on the news, and smart students would decide not to go for Harvard anymore. Harvard would drop in ranks, and too many Failures graduating from Harvard would end Harvard's rank for a long time.
