- Reaper is still kinda USEFUL in Season 10
This is just a video showing some Overwatch 2 Top 500 Gameplay where I play Reaper. I am currently a top 500 Reaper player in EU. So this video is just some Overwatch 2 top 500 gameplay.
The season 10 meta is pretty bad right now due to Orisa being meta BUT Reaper still can kinda be USEFUL in Season 10 if played correctly. Pushing Orisa with a zen discord is the way to countering the horse especially when she uses her gold or just by distracting the enemy team is BIG for your team especially if you are distracting more than 1.
Overwatch 2 Top 500 wasn't that hard to hit but I have been playing since Overwatch 1. I did start on xbox and switched to PC but altogether I have around 1900 hours and 800 of them have been on Reaper.
Reaper is the reason why I got out of gold/plat hell as you can kinda 1vs5 with him due to his lifesteal. It does get harder obviously the higher you go up but if I can get top 500 anybody can because I'm not the greatest player ever. I legit play like a plat but what I do differently is I try to play with my tank most of the time or I do the funny and get a 5 man or die instantly.
Sadly I don't have the codes for these games.

Played a comp game recently, where my team was split up in groups of two or one, while i was distracted 3 to 4 of the enemy team as tank, and yet, the rest of my team couldnt kill a single diving and flanking reaper. He just murdered them one by one till i was the last one and at that point the whole enemy team finished me off. This cycle happened over and over in that one game.

Reaper is getting bullied so much this season.
Ive been seeing a few people say that a need for a "tankbuster" isnt needed anymore since ow2, but like what else would reeba be? he'd need serious help to be as good of a flanker as tracer, brawl would be just shooting non tanks first instead of pressuring tanks and good luck with that depending on what support they run, theres not many things he can do with his current kit, also not sure why they're keeping his damage at 5.6 per pellet or whatever when they just added a hero that can literally combo to to death and get out for free, like ??? just make it 6 damage per pellet again
He's not even a close range hero, he's a point blank hero who can survive almost any tank to a stalemate, he can't do anything else. To make things worse, ram and rein just got buffed recently, so he can't even facetank them anymore

the new maps have like nowhere interesting to tp to anymore, most of the ledges and highgrounds that don't have stairs are just decoration and can't be stood on 😔

I've been playing him as my first DPS hero after learning most the supports so obviously I've been watching Choice to see how he's supposed to be played. I really enjoy playing reaper unless there's a good junkrat on the other team. I assume reaper is ok until you get to really high elos right?
@@MrCageinbloodHe’s fine, and if you get good enough you can main him all the way to GM. But at the level of GM - Champion he just can’t do anything in the current meta.
I don’t often play damage heroes (because I’m not very good at them), but when I do, I usually go Reaper. At lower levels he can cause some serious damage, and there is _no-one_ better at shredding down a Mauga/Roadhog. He doesn’t deserve the hate.

I just think.. Reaper can be useful. I mean, im maining him since literally the first hour of Overwatch release.. but rn.. i think they do have to buff his ult in some way. Maybe not CC immunity (maybe to strong).. but def sth.
