My dad used to put peel and stick floor tiles on the inside of all of our cabinets in our kitchen and our bathrooms; it worked much better than contact paper and certainly lasted longer and was more durable.

Yes, that would look great. I watch another creator and she had the white on white situation with the fireplace. She painted just the fireplace a similar green (if not the same) and that made the wall and the fireplace stand out beautifully.

Love the curtains on the island! I don’t iron,my husband does it all! He was military and needed things ironed a certain way so he did it and is still doing all the ironing 48 years later!🦋
We are a family of 7 & I rarely iron. My trick is to hang dry a lot of our clothes that are susceptible to wrinkling in the dryer. Especially my 2 daughters clothes that have lots of ruffles & frills. Also denim shorts are great to hang dry so the leg openings of the shorts don’t bunch up in the dryer. I have a hanging rod in my laundry room to hang clothes but before we had the rod, I used to hang clothes on the shower curtain rod in the bathroom. It’s a game changer to hand dry clothes instead of using the dryer. My youngest child is my 4yr old daughter. Her clothes all still look new bc I hang it all instead of the dryer. Hanging the clothes instead of using the dryer also helps them not shrink up
I do not iron. I either use the dryer to get the wrinkles out or I use Bounce wrinkle release. I love your curtains on your island. I also love the idea of using the curtain rod to be able to hang spray bottles on.! Great idea!!

I stopped ironing when I retired! Now I only purchase clothing that doesn't require ironing or get it out of the dryer before wrinkles set in. I clean my shower the same way, it's less hassle. Have a great week Kelly 😊❤😊🦋!

I just love the curtains on the island. It gives the kitchen such a welcoming vibe. If you go to farmers markets, you should get a braid of garlic or onions and hang it in the kitchen for a nice touch of farmhouse. I love seeing how much Ellie has thrived. Love love love the kitchen island curtains. Saw the wood trim doorway in the background and thought maybe create a faux wood mantle over the fireplace with your wood planks and stain it the same. You are so inspirational. I watched your video on how you made your laundry room door jam, its so beautiful! One bit of advice for a rubber mat under the sink - cut it a bit bigger than the floor space. Curl it up on all edges. If you have any spills that get trapped the floor under the rubber mat will not mildew or rot. 🦋❤🦋
Kelly you can sprinkle epsom salt around your veggies and flower's. They may be low on magnesium. That's what I use and it came from the lady who ran the biggest florist where I live.
I absolutely love how the island turned out! Soooo cute! I am the same way about having a list of projects to do in my home and wanting them done. My kids made tents like that when they were smaller. I love it!
Hi, Kelly. 😊 In Home Depot, they sell pre-cut wood pieces. If you measure the space under your kitchen sink, I believe you’ll find one close to that size. Also, I can’t remember the last time I ironed! 😂 I think I still have an iron 🤔 🦋

I continue to iron my clothes on an as needed basis. I also steam certain clothing items. Parmasean lids are the best. I even use them for toddler enrichment toys.🦋

I have those same curtains in my laundry room. I put them in my window and behind the washer and dryer to hide the water pipes. 🦋
I always used scissors, then splurged one day and bought me a wick cutter, or whatever you call them! ☺️😆 They work great. ☺️🦋

I clean my shower the same way .. while I’m in it. And I just use a kitchen sponge and dawn dish soap. Works like a charm.
