We all miss those times but have the sweet memories and have to accept our furbabies grow older faster than us. But you have alot more wonderful times ahead!!

When our Springer got older we got a puppy, we thought long and hard as did not want Suzy to feel we didn’t love her anymore, it was the best thing we could have done as Penny gave Suzy a new lease of life and we think it gave us another year with her before she passed. Maybe it’s food for thought Jamie.

Good to see Sherpa bound up the stairs on his way to see his buddy. It's hard to see them get old and the body gets tired, miss the younger days as well, enjoy the time you have left.

❤❤ I know you miss the ‘good old days’ of going on road trips all the time. But you will always have those memories, especially since a majority of them are on video. No one can take those away from you! But, just remember, you have many more adventures with Sherpa to come! He still has a lot of life left in him and you are so good at caring for his every need. I have no doubt that you will continue to maintain your adventurous lifestyle, with some minor tweaks to accommodate Sherpa’s changing needs. Sherpa is very lucky to have you in his life! Sherpys expressions tell you everything without him having to say a word. When you wake Sherpy up early his look says why are you waking me up this fluffing early I need my beauty sleep which takes a lot of work.

As my beautiful Golden, Blanca aged she actually preferred to sleep than go with me. I was lucky, I was 79 as she was 13 and I knew how my body wasn't up to things anymore so I let her enjoy her rest. I knew I would rather be resting😂
Aw, being woken at night to thumps and bangs thinking burglars were breaking in! 😊 With our boy Jake it was him scratching an ear with his back leg and thumping on the floor. He woke everybody. 🤗 His favourite spot at night was the top of the stairs so he was guarding the whole family from bad fellows coming up those stairs. Trouble was not just ear scratching but blocking the way to the bathroom from two bedrooms.
Thankfully nobody took a tumble and everyone went back to sleep eventually. 😊💖
