For some reason, I cannot really eat breakfast, like I have to force myself. So for the last 4-5 years I've been making breakfast smoothies: Oatmeal, hot water to soak and soften it, frozen berries and orange juice, blend it. Super simple, easy to get down a whole meal in 10 sec, easy to add some health foods to or vitamin pills or whatev. Sometimes if I feel like I need the calories I'll even put a bit of oil in the smoothie, after blending you dont notice its there.
my “goddamn it, i forgot to eat and nothing sounds good” smoothie: 1 cup mixed berries, 1-2tbsp peanut butter, 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder, 3 ice cubes, and enough oat milk to make it sippable 🥜🥤
Idk i think NL is being a bit of a hater when it comes to food services. I think HelloFresh etc. can be a decent option if you have the money and want to have an easy intro to cooking. In the long run nothing beats buying your own groceries and making your own food, price or quality (generally) wise. But idk its a good option to learn and to be introduced to new meals. I never made risotto before HelloFresh and now I know that it is a really great dish, that I 100% will never make because it just aint worth the effort. Maybe for a romantic dinner on an anniversary, but i'm paying someone else to make that dish for me 100/101 times. But on the other hand I learned a lot of useful things to cook and the fundamentals which really made cooking easier for me. I got to assume he at least accepts meal prep services over delivery services and that's a hill I can die on. Its sad how many people order delivery like 6 times a week. Even outside of the insanity that is like streamers ordering food every single meal.
I've tried a ton of these meal shakes, food shakes, etc, they're all disgustingly thick and bitty and they leave tons of powder in. I've used 80 dollar shakers with the stupid curved bottom that "never leave bits" and the auto blenders and they do not work on them. The shakes just suck. Usually nice flavours if you can stand the weird texture
I like NL but don't watch him on a regular basis, so I'm pretty out of the loop; this video turned from funny, to funny, but i don't know why i'm laughing into NL has developed his own language and i don't have any clue what he's yapping about.
