    There are so many things that make this video great. First... how about that sky! Beautiful (and a bit ominous). That sight was a great start to your 15+ hour adventure. Your periodic updates along the journey reminded us that you live in a part of the country that is just made for these beautiful old cars. Those gorgeous winding country lanes. The putter of a T just seems at home. And speaking of T's, holy smokes, that car flew! Modifications? I would say so! It was good to hear that you are goint to 'update' your car, but only where it is needed. You want to retain the original feel and look of the car. When I had the Speedster engine done, I did the same thing (aluminum pistons, distributer instead of buzz coils etc). It just makes the car more reliable and that means you can have more fun with it. But it still looks and sounds like a T. The video has some great moments, but I must say, as a native Californian, my favorite part was when you drove across the overpass and pointed the camera at the freeway. There were only TWO cars on it! Incredible! That would be nothing short of a miracle where I come from. You are going to look back on this video Jonathan and remember this is where it all started. You will have her back on the road soon enough and enjoying all your hard work and dedication. And you are going to have the biggest smile on your face. We can't wait to see it!

      Thanks Brian! We are glad you enjoyed the video so much! Yeah the sky was Beautiful, and I know exactly what you mean by 'ominous'. Yeah that particular Model T, had a 'T' engine, trans and rear in it, but the engine was modified in such a way that it is pushing about 45HP and about 50+ miles an hour!! And the T next to it in the shed could go 80 miles an an hour!! It's crazy! Yeah I am only doing modifications where I feel it's ABSOLUTELY necessary, for safety reasons and for longevity reasons. I will definitely be looking back on the T videos especially! That is one of the reasons we make these videos, to document what I do in my life, I hope you are enjoying it so far, Ha Ha!! : ) I can't wait to have my Girl back Brian, it's absolutely killing me not having her!!!! Although you are certainly one of the great people who are helping me through this journey. I will always remember that. Anyway thanks for watching again Brian!! : )

    Cool video young man. Thanks for showing us around. Really enjoyed it. That's why I try to show my local countryside to others.
    Ts are quite rare over here. Occasionally see the odd one at a show. My friend Simon (Mr Fixit) is a classic car restorer. Only ever races the rubbish left over from parts cars i.e. those uneconomic to restore. When he was young his father had a Model T, so he too has driven one when around your age.

    Wow... that roadster seems to be pushing 50mph in the video... Was it really rolling that quickly, or was it an optical illusion? 40 HP seems like Model A power!

    • @hitandmissfits171
      @hitandmissfits171  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it was doing about 50! The T next to it in the shed will do about 80!!!! Actually the 40 HP was coming from a modified T engine and transmission, it's crazy!! Thanks for watching Bud!! : )

    You came all the way to Canfield and didn't go to Snyder's

    • @hitandmissfits171
      @hitandmissfits171  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Funny thing you say that, because Snyders was right across the street from the re-builders shop! We didn't go because my Father just wanted to go home, and we had a heck of a ride to take! Thanks for watching!! : )
