- Today we are up early and heading to the Atlantic Ocean! That's right, we are taking the huskies to the ocean! We ended up in South Carolina to go to the ocean with the dogs! Today was a 14 hour travel day! Join us on our adventure!

Long travel day! Memphis and Kira have been to both oceans and the Gulf of Mexico. Now they need to go to all the Great lakes
They probably have been, since they live in Michigan.
Lake Erie and Lake Ontario I think are the only ones they need to hit still!
They are so adorable the ocean is amazing happy huskies at the beach. Great vlog love when you travel. The mountains are amazing.

Oh gosh this takes me back when my family would travel from Ontario all the way to Myrtle Beach and watching the ever changing landscape of the interstate highway (Buffalo, PA, WV, VA, NC and SC). Then eating to our hearts content at Cracker Barrel because the franchise has yet to cross over to our neck of the woods, despite Chick Fil A and Red Lobster holding their own pretty well here they could honeslty make a go of it off their biscuits alone! Ahh the memories 💕

its quite funny how i have seen your dogs in many water settings but seeing them in the gulf of Mexico. Atlantic ocean just makes them stand out so much more. and makes them seem so much more regal. glorious/ thank for that.

We love North Carolina we drive up there to the mountains we love exploring smoky mountains. I’m taking my little dog April to and take her on the Oconaluftee River Trail in Cherokee North Carolina for her first trail it’s a pet friendly trail.

Reminds me of when my family and I would go on vacation to North Carolina we drove from Florida through Georgia and South Carolina to get there I miss Florida and the ocean I had to move away with my family far away from all the lovely beaches I grew up around 😔
Sweet !!! I went to North Carolina in New Bern and Atlantic Beach on a family vacation !! That was the first time I saw the Atlantic Ocean !! It was beautiful and all of the shells !!! You guys are truly rock hounds !!

And I have been on that Interstate 77 through Virginia and it was great. I loved it although I wish I hadn’t been driving so I could look around more, but I had to pay attention to what I was doing because I was driving.
You guys should totally check out Mammoth Cave in Bowling Green KY. Its the largest cave system in the world.

Nice road trip! That's a long car ride but there was lots to look at with the ocean and mountains. I love that Greg is so accommodating for the girls. I'm sure Kirs stayed with him and Memphis stayed with Jess.

16:40 oh yeah! That’s that highway that goes up the mountains! I had to take that section of it in 2021 to head back up north from North Carolina.

Keith is from South Carolina and myself Long Island and the Atlantic is beautiful but it can be testy!!! Keith said you don't want to see Alligators for if you do it's probably too late. When we went to my Grandparents house in Fort Lauderdale Florida, we always heard of a death of cats, dogs and children by Alligators. Thank goodness Long Island doesn't have any. Alligators pretty much terrify me. Joan and Keith

A nice beach but I'll tell you what is all Panama City Beach. Please go there it's Emerald Beach absolutely beautiful just about just like the Caribbean.

Fun fact about South Carolina jellyfish they do wash up on the shore and they do still sting when they are dead
Yeah, we know they still sting, even when dead. Jamie got stung by a jellyfish as a child.

I love to see your trips east but I will always be a western girl. The mountains were pretty, but if you really want to see some mountains, you need to come to far Northern Utah (Cache Valley) where I live. Most beautiful mountains ever. Also, wanted to let ya'll (especially Jammie) know that those round bales of hay you saw at @ 16:40 were most likely headed back to the grower as they were defective. There's just no way the the cows could get a square meal out of them (rim shot please) LOL!! 'Glad you had a great a trip!

@@SnowDogsVlogs Rocky Mtns up through Montana are beautiful but I'll still keep my Wellsville and Wasatch Mtns. But, I'd love to see the Michigan Waterfalls. When I was back that way years ago it was with a group and we didn't get to see any of them. One thing's for sure though, we're so fortunate to live where beauty can be seen in many forms for just the cost of a trip and we have the freedom to go see it, huh?

Zaxby's is good except it is too salty for me. I live in North Georgia so you were technicaly in my neck of the woods for a little while. Such a long drive through some beautiful places. I loved every minute of the trip. I did not know of the emerald mine though.
We found out it's the ONLY Emerald Mine that the public can mine at!

The mountains are beautiful. I grew up in Virginia. These hotels need to do better with cleaning rooms. This shows how they lack in cleaning.

Nope. BUT I read all reviews before we get hotels, and we don't tend to stay in small motels, unless they have REALLY good reviews. We have never had issues with hotels. Read reviews before you stay. Simple as that!

We looked at it, decided Burke's beach was the better option for us on the drive.

Well, if I’ve been driving that I could’ve done 14 hours I can’t drive. It will after dark, my eyeballs don’t see that far ahead. Plus, my butt wouldn’t been able to take it. Eight hours is long enough to be in a car.
That's why we broke up the trip with stops. :)
