JFrog artifactory tutorial: Download, setup and JAR deployment

  • JFrog's Artifactory OSS offering is an impressive Maven repository solution. In this tutorial, I download Artifactory, get it installed, overcome the 'could not reserved enough heap space' error and finally install a JAR file to the releases repo.

    after installation, under bin folder, artifactory.bat is not running. The window which should open after clicking artifactory.bat is itself not opening. Could you please suggest here.

    Hi, I have configured as you told but I am entered that localhost:8081/artifactory / I am getting error msg check your artifactory log for error

    How is expected to shutdown gracefully the server instance, when I do "Ctrl + C" always appears an error message about:
    "[ERROR] [ ] [ifactoryApplicationContext:372] [ocalhost-startStop-5] - Exception while destroying org.artifactory.state.model.ArtifactoryStateManager (UNAVAILABLE: Channel shutdown invoked)."
    I am assuming it is not normal, and other consumers in the network would have problems.

    jfrog takes very long to extract
