Tamron 18-300mm f3.5-6.3 DI III - Sample photos - 4K

Tamron 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 DI III-A VC VXD attached to my Sony a6000.
Sample photos with background music. The complete review coming soon. This Tamron 18-300mm lens is very versatile. The image quality is good, very wide focal range (27-450mm FF equivalent) without changing lenses all the time. Perfect travel and do it all lens, in my opinion.

Great photographs - thanks for the video! Especially love that these were shot on an a6000 and still look amazing. I think it says a lot about how the lens has much more to say about the final result than the body.

Thanks! I do love this lens, both the image quality and the versatility. The a6000 is rather considered old today, but for a hobby photographer as myself its still can be a good, and economical choice.

The pictures look pretty good! That huge focal length really opens up a new world of opportunities 👌 How would you rate this lens for video use? Stabilization is decent enough? How about picture quality vs other lenses?

@DFD1 I don't have enough experience with this lens video capabilities. Literally, just tried video for couple of seconds with the a6000. Stabilization for photos is great, so I guess with an IBIS camera the lens would be good for video too.

For image quality comparison check Christopher Frost's videos. In a nutshell: the Sony 70-350 is sharper, but you missing the 18-70 range. No perfect lens/camera exsists 🙂
