Inter Miami is a weak team but Messi’s presence made them look good. Messi is one kind a genius. Messi is incomparable and truly the GOAT.
They actually had better ball possession, created more chances and had more passes when Messi and Busquets were on the field. It was great.

As a PSG fan I wholeheartedly agree we didn’t deserve him I said I didn’t want him from the start not like in a hater way but 1 because PSG fans are just spoiled brats and 2 is because I knew he wouldn’t fit but that’s besides the point I’m just glad he’s happy and I hope I can see him play now that he’s in the U.S.

@@lexkanyima2195 I’m going to assume you mean “the team wasn’t built to fit around” and which is true but you can’t use one of the best player in the world as a important piece which I knew PSG were tying to do with Messi because our best player is Mbappe so they are trying to build the team around him so bringing in a ball dominate playmaker (Messi) where you have two other players like Neymar and Mbappe who want the ball every time we are in the midfield or final third there not gonna let Messi do what Messi does best especially when Mbappe likes to play more on the left so Neymar is forced to play more central so last season he was always receiving the ball in the middle of the pitch where Messi usually is that’s why it didn’t work in Messi’s first season and they PSG couldn’t figure it out

Given how poor mls goalies are Messi could average 6-7 goals from free kicks per season.
He left Barcelona 2yrs and still, they haven't found a reliable free-kick taker showing how he carried Barcelona post Neymar's departure. Gundo might probably break the free-kick jinx for Barca. PSG still has Neymar and Verratti who could take and Argentina sure has alternatives too but with Messi there's no need for alternatives.

busquets suprised me, cause he looked so slow this last 2 seasons in spain, but he just showed me how bad the usa league is AND HOW good he is..... he was magnificent. i was skeptical, thought maybe the usa league was physical and would be too much for him, if he didnt have ball players with him...but the way he controlled , found space, found messi inbetween the lines gave me hope for this team and Messi...and then when Jordi comes, there will be a new level in the league. @@garthmanuel5701keep in mind, they were playing a Mexican team, not a US team. This is a new cup tournament that puts US teams vs Mexican teams.
The US league, MLS, is quite physical, which (along with the travel) makes me a little nervous. What defenders lack in quality, they often make up for in aggressive challenges. It's also a runners league, with a lot of inexperienced kids trying to turn games into a track meet. But boy if Messi and Busquets play like that against MLS defenses, look out.
