Great video Senor Hungaro!! That's a fun ridge hike. Looking forward to your shoe review, I love my Altras, but, I also need more support. Good job on promoting your IG.
I'm amazed that the trails are so different compared to Colorado! The vegetation is so full there in Hawaii. I'm actually going to be visiting Laie in late September. We'll be visiting my parents (my dad works at BYU-Hawaii). I'm not sure how much running I'll get in, but it'd be fun to do some trail running. Anyways, great video and I'll check out your review of the Salomon Wildcross.
Yes, it is very different! Not much of elevation, but some rough, steep trails. If you come out in September just message me, I can take you out on a run, if I am around . It will be fun 😀
I loved my alpha crosses, but they wore out pretty quick. I was looking into Atlas, but heard their durability was worse. Have you tried speed crosses?
I did use couple pair od speedcrosses, speedtreks, s labs and supercross. The good thingvthat the wildcross is a good mix between all. Good traction, good protection, lower stack height and most importantly wide toe box!
Awesome as always bro!
Mahalo and great shot by the way 😜
Haha loved the shoot!
Gracias Diana 😀
This is one of my favorite hikes. The views are beautiful, and it has some fun sections without being too extreme.
I agree Bryan, Hawaii Loa has good views and good variety on the trail!

Mahalo Marcus! I like my Altras too, but these Salomons are very promising.

@@HungaroExplorer I will definitely keep that in mind and maybe we can plan something! That would be so much fun.
Definitely!

I have some and they are really comfortable with great grip
@@coreylewis1945 I like large toe boxes and arch support. My favorite running shoes are Asics Keyanos, would they be something like that?

@@HungaroExplorer I'll have to give wild cross a try then, you convinced me!
where did you park brother,is it free? wow awsome vew amazing video
There is a parking at the end of the neighborhood but you need to check in with a Hawaiian ID to a gate first
I know a way up to Hawaii loa ridge without going through the security guards.
Yes, there is nice little trail from the valley up. It is a good one when you do the loop. Or you thinking about another one?
@@HungaroExplorer I'm thinking of the trail from Pia Valley that goes directly to Hawaii Loa
Yes, that is the one!👍🏻
